NBA Summer League Best Bets and Parlay for Monday, July 10, 2023
NBA Summer League rolls on and we are here to determine the best bets you can make on Monday night! Teams don't cut down nets for a summer league championship, but it can often be the start of something special and a sign of things to come. Some franchises take the summer more seriously, and it's important to identify that before betting. These are our top three favorite bets for tonight in the NBA Summer League.
Cavaliers vs. Grizzlies, 6:00PM ET
BET #1: Cavaliers +4.5 (-110) with DraftKings
The Cavaliers have been one of the more pleasantly surprising Summer League squads, as they sit with a 2-0 record despite not having a star rookie playing center stage. Instead, their roster is built with a collection of hungry players with plenty to prove - and players like Sharife Cooper Isaiah Mobley and Emoni Bates have all contributed productive games for Cleveland. Tonight they face off with Memphis, who has some high quality players of their own like Kenny Lofton Jr. and Jake LaRavia, but the 2-0 Cavaliers shouldn't be getting 4.5 points here. Lock it in.
Pacers vs. Magic, 8:30PM ET
BET #2: Pacers -5.5 (-110) with DraftKings
Next up is the Indiana Pacers, who looked absolutely dominant in the first half before surrendering a 22-point lead and needing to scratch and claw their way to a victory in their win over the Wizards on Saturday night. Led by electric 2nd-year star Ben Mathurin, the Pacers Summer League squad employs plenty of players that will contribute in the regular season, including rookie Jarace Walker and point guard Andrew Nembhard. The Magic are 0-1 in Summer League, losing to the Detroit Pistons (who just got absolutely demolished by the Houston Rockets). Outside of Anthony Black, there's not much to like on this Magic roster that features three former Michigan Wolverines in its starting lineup. Take Indiana to cover.
Kings vs. Clippers, 10:30PM ET
BET #3: Kings -2 (-110) with DraftKings
Last up is the Sacramento Kings, who finally forced star sophomore Keegan Murray to sit out, but it didn't matter as they handed the Atlanta Hawks a loss led by a balanced attack where all five of their starters finished in double figures. The Kings are always a competitive Summer League franchise, who take games serious and look to win. They pressed Atlanta for much of the game and took their offense out of sorts. Tonight they face the Clippers, who are 0-1 this summer with a loss to the Jazz, and we expect more of the same.
