NBA Summer League Best Bets and Parlay for Wednesday, July 12, 2023

NBA Summer League rolls on and we are here to determine the best bets you can make on Wednesday night! Teams don't cut down nets for a summer league championship, but it can often be the start of something special and a sign of things to come. Some franchises take the summer more seriously, and it's important to identify that before betting. These are our top three favorite bets for tonight in the NBA Summer League.

Pistons vs. Raptors, 6:00PM ET

BET #1: Pistons -5 (-110) with DraftKings

The Pistons looked lifeless last time out but we're expecting quite a turnaround tonight, as are the sportsbooks given that Detroit is a five-point favorite tonight. Detroit is one of the few teams with multiple players who will start for their regular season version playing in Summer League, and they'll want to make a statement and right the ship after the embarrassing performance last time out against Houston. Toronto is 0-2, and while they have some fun names on paper in Gradey Dick and Markquis Nowell, they don't have nearly the firepower that Detroit has.

Pacers vs. Thunder, 7:30PM ET

BET #2: Pacers +3.5 (-110) with DraftKings

If you've ever been to Vegas before, you know it can be hard to keep your energy up day after day. Oklahoma City is playing their second game in two days, after losing by 13 points to a Houston team that sat their best two players. Now that Tre Mann and Chet Holmgren have been sat, there is significant value here on Indiana, who holds a perfect 2-0 record led by their monstrous backcourt of Andrew Nembhard and Ben Mathurin. We love Indiana moneyline as well, but we will take the points to be safe.

Magic vs. Knicks, 8:00PM ET

BET #3: Magic -1.5 (-110) with DraftKings

Two teams still looking for their first win in the Vegas Summer League will suit up here on Wednesday night, and we're rolling with the team with significantly more talent on their roster here. New York looked completely non-competitive last time out in an 18-point loss to Brooklyn, and their roster is almost entirely made up of players that won't make the real New York roster this season. Orlando hasn't won yet, but both Anthony Black and Jett Howard have had eye-popping moments and will be the most gifted two players on the floor tonight. Trust Orlando here.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
