NBA Summer League Best Bets and Parlay for Thursday, July 13, 2023

NBA Summer League rolls on and we are here to determine the best bets you can make on Thursday night! Teams don't cut down nets for a summer league championship, but it can often be the start of something special and a sign of things to come. Some franchises take the summer more seriously, and it's important to identify that before betting. These are our top three favorite bets for tonight in the NBA Summer League.

Raptors vs. Nets, 5:00PM ET

BET #1: Raptors +5.5 (-110) with DraftKings

The Raptors' record may present them as a lifeless Summer League squad, but we think it's only a matter of time before they find themselves in the win column, and it may happen tonight. After dominating the Pistons for much of yesterday's game, Toronto blew a late lead but more importantly, rookie star shooter Gradey Dick found his form, lighting up Detroit's defense from start to finish. Brooklyn doesn't have any players on their summer roster the caliber of Dick, and the Raptors getting 5.5 points here is just too many.

Pelicans vs. Hornets, 7:30PM ET

BET #2: Pelicans -3 (-110) with DraftKings

While we're buying stock in one winless Summer League team, we are fading another one hard. Charlotte has been a complete disaster this summer, getting destroyed in most games, and even losing when they finally got a star performance from both Brandon Miller and Nick Smith last game. After seeing that result, we're not sure there's any way Charlotte can rack up a win here, and we will gladly scoop up any opponent laying just three points or less.

Trail Blazers vs. Magic, 9:00PM ET

BET #3: Blazers -4.5 (-110) with DraftKings

For our last play today, we will fade one other 0-3 team, the Orlando Magic. Like the Hornets, Orlando got quality performances from their two rookies last game and still lost. Jett Howard showed why he wasd the first sharpshooter selected in the NBA Draft and Anthony Black has shown an impressive all-around game through three contests, but the Blazers summer squad is just a more impressive unit. Even without Scoot Henderson, Portland has found ways to win and competes extremely hard in summer. Expect that to continue tonight.

Remember to gamble responsibly and set limits on your betting activities. It's important to approach sports betting as a form of entertainment, rather than relying on it for financial gain. Set a budget for yourself and stick to it, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
