In those three games, he's returned 7, 7 and 6 assists respectively - the only total below his assist line tonight being the 6 which came against a stifling Memphis defense. In those 3 games he's averaged 10 potential assists. That bodes well with the Magic ranking 21st for opponent field foal percentage.

Bucks vs. Hornets, 7.30PM ET

The last time these two teams played on December 1, LaMelo Ball put together one of his best performances of the season with 36 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. For Melo, the first five minutes of a game generally sets the tone for him. If he can make his first few shots, you can typically expect a big game. The Bucks are still a little banged up, despite their big win over Brooklyn last night. On the second night of a back-to-back, and without key defensive cogs like Jrue Holiday, this could be another night Ball stuffing every single stat category.

Knicks vs. Celtics, 7.30PM ET

You know what? I think Jayson Tatum is pissed off. It wasn't long ago that the Celts were one of the best positioned teams in the league to have a sustained run of success, but now they've been reduced to also-rans which was exacerbated by coughing up a huge lead on Thursday to the Knicks. In that game Tatum did the best he could with 36 points. It wasn't enough, but this reeks of a takeover game to right the ship.
