Having won three of their last four, they've been able to do the two most fundamental things in basketball really well: No. 1 score the basketball, and No 2. stop the other team from scoring. That sounds stupid, but it really is that simple sometimes. In their last five games they've been able to lift their points production to more than 117 per game while maintaining a better than league average defensive rating. That's an important facet when coming up against this Spurs team whose identity revolves around high-octane pace. New Orleans are playing with some swagger right now and we expect that to continue.

Nets vs. Heat, 8:00PM ET

How can people that live in year-round sunshine be so upset and angry? That's the case right now for this fractured Heat team who are at a crossroads with only a couple of weeks left in the regular season. After an inter-squad blowup between Udonis Haslem and Jimmy Butler on Wednesday night, they dropped an impossible game last night against the Knicks after taking a big lead into the fourth quarter. That's three consecutive losses for the once unflappable Heat, and now it's crisis time. Their opponent tonight, the Nets, are no ready to stake their claim once again as legitimate title contenders and will have a full complement of their stars and should make light work of this.

Bulls vs. Cavaliers, 8:00PM ET

The Bulls are in free fall. They've lost seven of their last ten games and look all over the place as they deal with weird chemistry issues and injury. The Cavs haven't been going too much better though, losing their last two games while giving up an insane amount of points to the Raptors and Lakers. Bad defense is a trend for both of these teams who are allowing a combined amount of 239 points per game over their last five games each. The sportsbooks gave this game tight - and so do we - but if the form lines ring true, we should be seeing some pretty ordinary D and a lot of points.
