Our day gets underway with lunchtime in LA and a banged up Memphis taking on the Clippers. The Grizzlies will be without Steven Adams while both Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are listed as gametime decisions with Morant more likely than not to sit this one out as he battles through some thigh soreness. For Los Angeles, who are of course missing both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, they've been struggling badly, especially on offense where they've only been able to put up an average of 102 points per game over their last five. With the Griz putting out a hobbled and thin rotation and already on 5-0 run on unders themselves, this looks to be well and truly a grit and grind game where points will be scarce.

Bucks vs. Hornets, 7.30PM ET

Milwaukee certainly took this writer by surprise last night when they tore apart the Nets with an undermanned squad, most impressively putting up 121 points behind big performances from Giannis, Middleton and Bobby Portis. That number is significant because they once again have a chance to put up a high point total against Charlotte who are giving up an average of 113 points per game over their last five outings. We hammer the Hornets overs a lot in this daily column and there's no reason to slow down now.

Knicks vs. Celtics, 7.30PM ET

We're making a big day about New York today because going live is huge, but I am sorry to break your 'lil Bing Bong bubble - the Celtics will exact revenge for the Thursday night heroics from RJ Barrett at the Garden. Putting that ridiculous game into context; the Celts were up big, big, big before Evan Fournier went crazy (he's listed as a gametime decision tonight, by the way). Can we Fournier tearing it up again? Can we see the Celtics coughing up another lead, this time in front of their own home fans? Not likely. Celtics to cover.
