Free NBA Picks For Saturday December 11, 2021

Jazz vs. Wizards, 7:00PM (EST)

Utah is a threat on both ends of the floor, ranking in the top three in the league for offense AND defense. That's tough to do and you can't help but feel that past playoff failures is the reason why we're not talking about them more as a legit NBA contender. They come up against the Wizards in Washington on Saturday night at a good time with the Wiz going through some recent struggles. They did manage to pull out a win in their last game, but that was against the Pistons and it was in OT. Outside of that, over the previous four games they just haven't been close to matching it with the opponent, losing each of those games by sizeable margins. Expect the Jazz to clamp right down and flex their power here.

Rockets vs. Grizzlies, 8:00PM (EST)

Despite the hot form of the Rockets, the sportsbooks do not want anything to do with them on the second night of a back-to-back against the Grizzlies, but to us the +8.5 on offer seems far too disrespectful.

Memphis are still without their star man in Ja Morant, and while they've been functioning just fine without him, Houston will certainly give them a tough test with guys like Garrison Matthews and Christian Wood playing a cohesive brand of basketball that is a threat in the post as well as from deep. Even though their winning streak ended last night at the hands of the Bucks, we'll happily take the points here on the Rockets.

Bulls vs. Heat, 8:00PM (ET)

Both teams are a little banged up heading into this one with Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan both listed as out for the Heat and Bulls respectively. The missing personnel appeared to hurt Chicago in their last game out against the Cavs where they failed to reach 100 points in a bad loss. They'll face similar issues on offensive against a Miami team who rank 4th in the league in defense, allowing only 104 points per game. Even without Butler, the Heat have the depth to take this win at home.
