Bucks vs. Celtics, 1:00PM ET

PICK: Celtics -4.5 (-105)

Milwaukee were able to deal with the blow of losing Khris Middleton during their first round series against the Bulls without too many issues, dispensing of Billy Donovan's men in just 5 games, but will that loss be felt a little more as they take a step up in class against the team that is now the favorite to come out of the East?

Boston's identity is their defense. They're immense at covering the floor on the defensive end, as evidenced by making Kevin Durant look washed during some stretches of their opening round series against the Nets. As the postseason goes on, games tense up even more than usual, and that's going to play into the Celts' hands, especially with the Bucks missing their secondary scoring option. Boston take care of this one at home.

Warriors vs. Grizzlies, 3:30PM ET

PICK: Total points OVER 219.5 (-115)

While we just said above that defense tends to tighten up as the postseason goes on, this Warriors/Grizzlies series is definitely going to be an exception to that rule. All but one game went over in the Golden State/Denver first round series as the new 'Lineup of Death' put up some ridiculous numbers. While the Grizzlies have their own small ball lineup that was effective in extinguishing the Wolves, their fast pace of play leaves them open to be exposed by the Warriors. The total is set relatively low for Game 1, but expect to increase as we see how these two styles of play mesh over the course of the series.
