Free NBA Props Saturday April 23, 2022

76ers vs. Raptors, 2:00PM ET

PICK: Tyrese Maxey OVER 18.5 points (-108)

With news of Joel Embiid's thumb injury, it looks to have spooked the sportsbooks who have reduced his points prop line from the 32.5 mark to 29.5. It's appealing, but like the 'books, we're spooked, too, by the possible severity of that injury. So, instead, we're going with Tyrese Maxey. Maxey has been a bonafide offensive star for the Sixers this series, hitting his prop total in each of the three games, and also dating back a further four games in the regular season. He should be getting a lot of opportunities to run it up again.

Mavericks vs. Jazz, 4:30PM ET

PICK: Donovan Mitchell OVER 30.5 points (-118)

We know that the Jazz is most likely going to be completely blown up at season's end, but will they at least put up a fight at home? Donovan Mitchell could be one of those guys whose days in a Utah uni are numbered, but he has been immense so far through three games of this series, hitting 30 points in each of them. He's automatic right now.

Celtics vs. Nets, 7:30PM ET

PICK: Kyrie Irving UNDER 27.5 points (-110)

With so much coverage in this series revolving around Kevin Durant and his lack of production against the Celtics, we're expecting a response from him tonight in terms of getting more touches and more shots. His shooting form, though, leads us to believe that taking his points prop total is a dangerous bet, so we're looking at one man who may find his usage reduced in Kyrie Irving. With KD looking to be more of the alpha dog with the Nets down 2-0, a game such as Game 2 in which Irving only had 10 points appears likely.
