NBA Playoffs Betting: Our Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Game 3 Betting Strategy
Now that we're into the second round of the NBA Playoffs, we're seeing at most two matchups per day. With the smaller slates and focused games, the books have been rolling out expanded betting markets, especially on player props that can offer lucrative plus-money opportunities.
For example, ahead of Pacers-Knicks Game 2, we looked at the Top Points Scorer market with Jalen Brunson such a heavy favorite. Well, it turned out to be the right day to do so as Brunson missed a quarter of play and some of our lucky followers bet on Tyrese Haliburton to be the points leader at a big +3500 payday. Last night, we correctly predicted Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to be the top points scorer with a precise projection of 33 points and cashing +170.
We're going to dive into a few different markets for Game 3 of the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves series.
Our model has been running simulations on today's slate ever since lines became available and we are using that data to identify betting opportunities in the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game.

Four Ways to Bet on Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Game 3 - May 10, 2024
As mentioned, we are looking at the Game 3 matchup featuring the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves.
You can find numerous value plays, as well as prop projections for every player in this game with Dimers Pro, so if you're not keen on these wagers, use our data to find the play that's right for you!
Bet #1 - Rudy Gobert Rebounds Leader (+125 on FanDuel)
For our first plus-money prop, we're looking at Rudy Gobert who missed Game 2 of this series to welcome his newborn son. The Wolves took care of business without him but now they get his new dad energy as they look to take a 3-0 lead at home.
Gobert grabbed the most boards in Game 1 with 13 - five more than the next highest rebounders at 8 apiece (McDaniels, Jokic). He gets a projection of 12 rebounds tonight which does come in as our second-highest total behind Jokic's projected 14, but makes his +125 odds pretty appealing.

Bet #2 - Anthony Edwards Points Leader (+155 on FanDuel)
After a 43-point Game 1 explosion, Edwards turned in 27 points alongside Karl-Anthony Towns (who DimersBOT loves tonight) to tie for the top scorer in Game 2. Edwards has been scoring at an ungodly pace in these playoffs and we've got him projected for 29 tonight, one point behind Nikola Jokic who is a minus-odds favorite to lead tonight in scoring.
A little line reading shows why we really like this too - Jokic is at 29.5 with juice to the under at -120, while Edwards' points line of 27.5 is juiced to the over at -118.
Bet #3 - Nikola Jokic To Record a Triple Double (+200 on FanDuel)
This prop printed money in the regular season with Jokic rarely going under double-digit boards making his TD prop a great value anytime he was projected close to double-digit dimes, and that's what we've got tonight.
The freshly-named MVP draws a projected line of 30 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists tonight. He nearly got there in both games so far (8 REB, 9 AST in Game 1 and 16 REB, 8 AST in Game 2) and the Nuggets will likely need everything from their star tonight. At +200 for a guy favored and projected to lead in the game in AST and REB, this is some classic DimersBOT value.
Bet #4 - K. Towns & M. Porter Jr. 20+ Points Each (+307 on FanDuel)
We'll finish off with a little two-team SGP on FanDuel backed by our model. MPJ and KAT are each projected to clear 20 points, with Towns getting a 27-point projection (little ladder anyone?) and Porter Jr. getting just over with 21 points from our model.
Porter has hit 20+ in 5/7 playoff games, landing right on 20 twice and 19 once, while Towns has hit this in his past three.

As well as being your best source for NBA predictions, Dimers also has the latest NBA news, NBA predictions for every game, weekly NBA best bets, and NBA props and NBA trends.
Can I bet on NBA with Dimers?
No. There’s no NBA bet slip on our site because we don’t take any NBA bets ourselves. We’re the friend who gives you the best NBA picks and predictions then tells you where and how to get the best NBA sign up offers at the sportsbooks, so you can throw your NBA bets down. That’s it!
When you click on one of our buttons or links in our NBA content, you’re whisked away to DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel, or one of the many other sportsbooks we work with.
Once you get there, you can join up to score a welcome bonus (up to $200!), and then get those NBA bets down for yourself, but you’re betting on the NBA with them, not us. Since you are never betting anything directly with us, we don’t have access to your personal information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.
It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a sports betting site still has that awesome NBA sign up offer available, the best ones often disappear just as quickly as they appeared. We always take these offers down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our responsibility to provide up to date NBA information very seriously.
Finally, Responsible Gambling is extremely important to us, so please remember that NBA betting should be seen as a form of entertainment - adding to your enjoyment while watching from the couch - not a side hustle or second income stream.
If Dimers doesn't take NBA bets, then how do you make money?
Whenever you join a sportsbook mentioned in our NBA picks and predictions across the website, or use one of our promo codes, we get a small commission for referring you. Don’t worry, though, this doesn’t affect you in any way at all. That’s a fee the sportsbook pays us as a thank-you for sending another NBA bettor their way.
We’re always happy to help our readers troubleshoot any problems. Start with our About Us or Contact Us and if that doesn’t work for you, then you can always send us an email at contact@dimers.com. We’ll do our best to help you figure it out.
