Hawks vs. Heat Parlay Analysis
Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat, 7:30PM ET
LEG 1: Jimmy Butler 2+ Steals
Butler steals has been one of my favorite targets all season long, and he finds himself in a good spot against the Hawks today. As someone who has bet the steals market more then almost anyone on the planet, it comes down to two things, effort and minutes. Considering this is a win or go home game, I would expect Butler to be in the 40 minute range, with his defensive abilities being a big reason why. Additionally, he benefits from going against a fairly turnover prone guard in Trae Young. The Heats team identity revolves around tough hard nosed defense and I expect that to show tonight, Butler will also be able to jump passing lanes considering the pesky on-ball defense and blitz heavy scheme the Heat love to throw at opposing guards.

LEG 2: Bogdan Bogandovic 12+ Points
We know the Heat love to blitz opposing point guards, making the role players beat them. Despite the strong defensive unit, the Heat have been known to give up three’s in bunches, and I think Bogdanovic will really benefit that. One of the interesting things I’m seeing is people jump towards Saddiq Bey, with the same logic applying to spot up shooters beating them from the outside. While I like Bey, Bogdanovic has legitimate playoff experience playing a meaningful role, and a much more expansive shot chart the Bey. For those two reasons, I think he provides much more upside as the secondary scorer and should also benefit from Dejounte having to try to drive on Bam Adebayo in the paint.
LEG 3: Dejounte Murray 1+ Steals
Finally we are going to continue down our defensive route with another starter who should find himself in a position to play 35+ minutes. Murray has been known as a very consistent steal target dating back to his Spurs days, and I think we will see maximum effort in his first playoff start. While the Heat are a fairly disciplined team, there use of multiple ball handlers should give us some good opportunities. Additionally, I expect him to see plenty of Jimmy Butler who will have the ball plenty, meaning he gets those on-ball steal chances.
