NBA Parlay Today, Wednesday January 4, 2023

Our Wednesday, January 4 NBA player props parlay features some serious star power, as we're rolling with James Harden, Ja Morant and Jimmy Butler to help us cash. This three-leg parlay would pay out at +688 odds and we feel great about it landing for us. Also, we're hoping that it ends up coming down to Butler, as the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers will be playing in the second game of the ESPN doubleheader this evening. That means we'll all have a chance to see whether or not our parlay comes through for us. Being that it's backed by our world-class artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, we feel we have a great shot. And make sure you also check out our NBA best bets for Wednesday, as we have been consistently winning with those all season.

Wednesday NBA Parlay Analysis

Indiana Pacers vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:00PM ET

LEG 1: James Harden Over 10.5 Assists (+115) with DraftKings

Tonight's Pacers-Sixers game has a total of 232 and that means that there will likely be a lot of points scored in this one. If that's the case, you'll want to have some Harden player props. While Harden doesn't dominate the ball quite as much as he used to with the Houston Rockets, he is still the lead engine in the backcourt for Philadelphia. And that means he should be in for some big numbers in this game.

In our model's 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, Harden averaged 11.7 assists per game. That's good for an edge of 10.5%, which is just too hard to pass up as the first play in our player props parlay. Harden also had 11 assists in his last meeting with Indiana, so we know he's capable of hitting this Over in this very matchup.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:00PM ET

LEG 2: Ja Morant Over 27.5 Points (-114) with DraftKings

While Morant's point total is only 27.5 in this game, our model had him scoring 32.6 points per game in our 10,000 simulations of this contest. And it really isn't that hard to see why, as Charlotte is just 26th in the NBA in defensive rating this season. And the Hornets just do not have any perimeter defenders that are capable of keeping Morant from getting to the rim. And they don't exactly have the rim protectors to stop him once he gets there.

Morant has scored at least 32 points in four of his last five games, and he's coming off a 35-point performance on Sunday. If he simply stays hot, our player props parlay will be in good shape.

Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00PM ET

LEG 3: Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 Points (-105) with DraftKings

In our 10,000 simulations of this game, Butler ended up averaging 24.6 points per game. And Butler is definitely due for an outburst offensively, as he scored only nine points against the Los Angeles Clippers last game. He also had only 17 points against the Denver Nuggets before that.

Butler did, however, have 27 points in a meeting with the Lakers on December 28, and we think he is capable of repeating that performance. Los Angeles is lacking a legitimate shot blocker around the basket, and the team will also miss the size of LeBron James. With that in mind, we like his Over tonight.
