Wednesday NBA Parlay Analysis
Washington Wizards vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET
LEG 1: Julius Randle Under 12.5 Rebounds (-115) with DraftKings
Randle has been a monster on the boards recently, grabbing at least 15 in each of his last five games — with one of those being a 16-rebound performance against this Wizards team. But our model thinks the big man is going to come crashing down as a rebounder tonight.
In 10,000 simulations of tonight's Wizards-Knicks game, Randle averaged only 9.8 rebounds per game. That's good for an edge of 10.8% and we generally look for ways to throw numbers that high into our player props parlays. There's also a reason that sportsbooks are offering plus-money on the Over here. They're trying to trap bettors into falling for Randle's recent streak.
Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8:00PM ET
LEG 2: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 5.5 Assists (+125) with DraftKings
Gilgeous-Alexander had only one assist in his last game, but he had six in each of his previous two contests. And overall, this is a great matchup for him to reach that mark again.
The Thunder drive to the basket more than any team in the entire NBA, but Gilgeous-Alexander will be met by Myles Turner when he attacks tonight. That might mean a tougher night for the guard as a scorer, but it should also mean that he'll look to find his teammates when he gets himself into the paint.
Our model has Gilgeous-Alexander projected for 7.5 assists tonight. That's two higher than his assist total and you're getting it at plus-money!
Miami Heat vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 8:00PM ET
LEG 3: Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 Points (-104) with DraftKings
Butler is coming off a 34-point performance against the Hawks on Monday, so he should be feeling good entering this meeting with the Pelicans. And overall, it's a little surprising to see his point total down at 21.5 here. The forward is averaging 22.1 points per game on the season, and he is also averaging 23.0 points per game in January.
This is actually another prop that our model thinks will hit with ease. In 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, Butler averaged 24.8 points per game. That's good for an edge of 6.0% and we're adding to bring home our player props parlay.
