NBA Parlay Today, Tuesday January 31, 2023

Our NBA player props parlay for Tuesday, January 31 would pay out at +661 odds and features big names like Evan Mobley, Jalen Brunson and CJ McCollum. Mobley will be going to work in a game in which his Cleveland Cavaliers face the Miami Heat, and we're looking for an underwhelming performance out of him. Meanwhile, we'll see Brunson and McCollum in the Tuesday night TNT doubleheader in which the New York Knicks host the Los Angeles Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans face the Denver Nuggets. We need a big night out of Brunson and a bad one out of McCollum, but these picks weren't based on heart. We turned to our predictive analytics model and artificial intelligence, which have served us right all year. We have hit a bunch of these three-leg parlays and feel good about our chances of doing so on a nightly basis. Also, make sure you check out our NBA best bets for Tuesday, as we're 8-1 over the last three days.

Tuesday NBA Parlay Analysis

Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7:00PM ET

LEG 1: Evan Mobley Under 8.5 Rebounds (+108t) with DraftKings

Mobley is one of the better defensive bigs in basketball, but we like the value on him going Under his rebound total tonight. For starters, it's a little odd that his total is only 8.5, which leads us to believe that the oddsmakers are begging you to back the Over. But Mobley is also going up against a Heat team that is pretty good about keeping opponents off the glass. They're top-10 in the league in opponent rebound rate.

In 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, our model had Mobley averaging only 7.0 rebounds per game. With that said, we're rolling with the Under at plus-money odds and hoping that Bam Adebayo manhandles him in the paint.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET

LEG 2: Jalen Brunson Over 23.5 Points (-118) with DraftKings

While Brunson's point total for tonight is down at 23.5, our model actually has him projected for 29.0 points against the Lakers. That's a rather significant edge, which made it an easy decision to throw the lefty guard into our player props parlay for Tuesday.

Brunson is actually averaging 27.5 points per game over his last two games, and he is averaging 28.1 points per game since the start of January. Don't be surprised if the guard goes for at least 30 in this meeting with Los Angeles, which doesn't exactly have the guards required to stop Brunson's mid-post game.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Denver Nuggets, 10:00PM ET

LEG 3: CJ McCollum Under 22.5 Points (-102) with DraftKings

McCollum has scored 49 points over his last two games, but we like him to go Under his 22.5-point total tonight. The reality is that Brandon Ingram is back in the lineup for New Orleans, and the forward isn't likely to keep playing poorly. Ingram has struggled in the two games since returning, but he is this team's go-to perimeter scorer and he should get back on track shortly. That will make it harder for McCollum to get his offensively.

In our model's simulations of tonight's game, McCollum averaged only 19.8 points per game. So, even though we have the Pelicans in tonight's NBA best bets, let's hope it's his teammates that end up doing the bulk of the scoring.
