NBA Parlay Today, Tuesday December 20, 2022

There's only five games in the NBA on Tuesday night, but we like what we see and put together an NBA player props parlay that could serve as a nice bankroll booster if it hits. Tonight's slate will feature the Golden State Warriors facing the New York Knicks and the Denver Nuggets hosting the Memphis Grizzlies. We have picks for players in both of those games, as well as a play on DeMar DeRozan in the meeting between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat. LEG 1: DeMar DeRozan Over 2.5 Turnovers (+130) with DraftKings

Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat, 7:30PM ET

DeRozan isn't a careless basketball player or anything, but we just have to take the Over on his turnovers for tonight. While Lonzo Ball remains out for Chicago, DeRozan continues to see on-ball reps in which his team is relying on him to facilitate a bit more than he should be. Against a team that defends like Miami, that should result in a few more turnovers than usual. 

DeRozan had only one turnover against the Minnesota Timberwolves last game, but he had four against the New York Knicks the game before that. And our model has him projected for 2.6 tonight, which makes for a good value considering this bet is going off at plus-money odds.

LEG 2: Jordan Poole Under 26.5 Points (-104) with DraftKings

Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET

Poole is in a position in which the Warriors are counting on him as their top offensive option, as Steph Curry is out for a few weeks with a shoulder injury. However, in 10,000 simulations of tonight's game against the Knicks, Poole only averaged 19.4 points per game. That's good for an edge of 12.5%, which is our highest number of the night. 

While everything Golden State wants to do starts with Poole, New York will be looking to make anybody else score the basketball. That means the Knicks, who are first in the league in defensive rating over the last seven games, will be trying to get the ball out of his hands. That should ultimately result in an Under on his point total, which is very high.

LEG 3: Steven Adams Under 9.5 Rebounds (-119) with DraftKings

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Denver Nuggets, 10:00PM ET

Adams is a very good rebounder in this league, but his minutes aren't always there for the Grizzlies. And Memphis could look to downsize a little in a meeting with Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets here. While Adams' size would make things harder on Jokic to dominate the glass in this game, the Grizzlies tend to do their best work with Jaren Jackson Jr. as a small-ball center. And spreading out Denver would be a good strategy for Memphis. 

In our simulations of this game, Adams only averaged 7.4 rebounds per game. That seems pretty spot on, as Adams has gone five games without reaching the 10-rebound mark.
