NBA Parlay Today, Thursday January 12, 2023

We hit a +781 NBA player props parlay just two days ago and we're confident we'll do it again soon. With that said, check out what we have for the Thursday, January 12 slate. This is a night that features the Boston Celtics taking on the Brooklyn Nets, while the Los Angeles Lakers host the Dallas Mavericks. You really can't ask for much better than that, although it would have been nice if Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis were playing in those games. Thursday NBA Parlay Analysis

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:00PM ET

LEG 1: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 28.5 Points (-111) with DraftKings

Gilgeous-Alexander had only 26 points against the Heat's stellar defense on Tuesday, but he had scored at least 30 in each of his previous three games. We expect him to get right back to putting up big scoring numbers on Thursday, when he takes on a Sixers team that he struggled against just two weeks ago. 

In our model's simulations of this game, the Thunder star averaged 32.8 points per game. And the fact that this isn't plus-money on such a high point total after he scored just 14 against the Sixers on December 31 shows that the oddsmakers are afraid he's going Over.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 10:00PM ET

LEG 2: Darius Garland Over 7.5 Assists (+110) with DraftKings

Garland has had 20 games in which he has recorded at least eight assists this season, and he has only played in 33 games this season. That makes it hard to believe we're getting plus-money odds on him to reach that mark in what should be a high-scoring game against the Blazers. 

In 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, Garland averaged 8.3 assists per game for the Cavs. That's good for an edge of 6.9%, so we just have to throw it in our player props parlay tonight.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00PM ET

LEG 3: Dennis Schroder Over 3.5 Assists (+112) with DraftKings

On Monday, Schroder had four assists in a game against the Denver Nuggets. He has now had at least four assists in 14 games this season, and we like him to do so against the Mavericks. 

Schroder has played at least 32 minutes in each of his last seven games, so the Lakers are relying on him in a big way. With that in mind, this is just a low bar to clear for a player that is quick enough to put himself in positions to make plays whenever he wants. Our model has him projected for 5.2 assists tonight, so this really isn't even close. You have to toss this one in your parlays!
