Thursday NBA Parlay Analysis
Phoenix Suns vs. Atlanta Hawks, 7:30PM ET
LEG 1: Bogdan Bogdanovic Over 13.5 Points (-108) with DraftKings
Tonight, the Hawks get a crack a Suns team that could be lost on the wing without Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, who were traded to the Nets for Kevin Durant. Phoenix is also playing without Devin Booker, who is managing his comeback from a groin injury. That means that the Suns will be throwing out some unusual lineups tonight, which should give Bogdanovic the opportunity to get open for some shots.
When Bogdanovic faced the Suns last Wednesday, the sniper ended up scoring 18 points in 25 minutes. Our model is expecting a similar performance tonight, as it has him projected for 17.0. That makes him a great value on a total that is just 13.5 for this game.
Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets, 7:30PM ET
LEG 2: Spencer Dinwiddie Under 20.5 Points (-104) with DraftKings
Dinwiddie is back in a Nets uniform and something feels right about that. But his first point total with a new team seems a little high. Dinwiddie will undoubtedly see opportunities right away for Brooklyn, but Cam Thomas is the go-to scorer for the Nets right now. He has scored at least 43 points in each of his last three games, so he'll be given another chance to be the team's top option tonight.
Dinwiddie probably won't need much time to get used to his new teammates, but we just think that 21 points is a tough ask for him. Our model has him projected for 16.5 points after running 10,000 simulations on this one.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00PM ET
LEG 3: Brook Lopez Over 1.5 Blocks (-110) with DraftKings
There are only four games on tonight's NBA slate, so we have to get a little cute with our third prop. With that said, we're rolling with the Over on Lopez's block total. He is one of the game's best rim protectors and will now be needed in a matchup with Anthony Davis and the Lakers.
In our model's 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, Lopez averaged 2.5 blocks per game. That easily clears the 1.5-block total and Lopez has blocked at least two shots in 14 of his last 21 games, so this is a mark he hits more often than not. Hopefully this one brings our player props parlay home.
