NBA Parlay Today, Sunday January 22, 2023

We have a +836 three-leg NBA player props parlay that we really like for Sunday, January 22. One of our players does play a little early, so make sure you get in on this before Kyle Lowry and the Miami Heat take on the New Orleans Pelicans at 3:30PM ET. The other two players we're turning to are Dillon Brooks and Dennis Schroder. There aren't any huge names in this parlay, but our predictive analytics model and artificial intelligence have found some edges. When that happens, we refuse to ignore it! Sunday NBA Parlay Analysis

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Miami Heat, 3:30PM ET

LEG 1: Kyle Lowry Over 4.5 Assists (+125) with DraftKings

Lowry has a really strong edge from our model in this game, as our 10,000 simulations of Pelicans-Heat had the veteran averaging 5.9 assists per game. That's a heck of a lot higher than his 4.5-assist total, and you're getting superb odds on him to hit this. 

The only thing to keep an eye on here is whether Lowry plays enough. He has played just 21.5 minutes per game over the last two games, but he should be able to hit this easily if he ends up playing at least 30. That's why it's the first play in our player props parlay.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Phoenix Suns, 8:00PM ET

LEG 2: Dillon Brooks Over 13.5 Points (+100) with DraftKings

Brooks has been a little cold lately, as he has failed to score in double figures in each of his last four games. However, this is a guy that is averaging 16.1 points per game and has the ability to get hot in a hurry. Against the Suns, we like his chances of scoring at least 14.

In our model's 10,000 simulations of this game, Brooks averaged 18.0 points per game. That's an edge that is impossible to pass up on. If the Suns were fully healthy, this one might be tougher to take. But with Mikal Bridges needing to focus more energy than usual on offense, that gives a player like Brooks more openings to score himself.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 9:00PM ET

LEG 3: Dennis Schroder Over 3.5 Assists (-108) with DraftKings

Schroder has come through for us in the assist category before, so why not go back to him again? The Lakers are still somewhat shorthanded in the backcourt, so that means that Schroder will once again have on-ball opportunities. And this meeting with Portland should be somewhat higher in scoring. 

Schroder is also coming off a game in which he had eight assists, so this number just looks really low. We're throwing it into our parlay and can live with it not hitting, as the logic and data are both there.
