Sunday NBA Parlay Analysis

LEG 1: Franz Wagner Over 4.5 Rebounds (+124) with DraftKings

Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics, 3:00PM ET

Wagner is only averaging 4.1 rebounds per game this season, and he has had four or fewer rebounds in each of his last three games. However, our model spit out a projection of 4.8 rebounds per game in the 10,000 simulations it ran on today's Magic-Celtics matchup. 

In fairness, Wagner is an athletic player and has great size for his position, which is part of the reason he has had 14 games in which he has grabbed at least five rebounds this season. And at these odds, it's hard to argue against backing him here. Wagner will need to have a nice game on the glass in order for Orlando to have a shot.

LEG 2: RJ Barrett Over 3.5 Assists (+126) with DraftKings

New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers, 5:00PM ET

In our model's 10,000 simulations of tonight's game, Barrett averaged 4.1 assists per game against the Pacers. However, you can still get the southpaw at plus-money odds to hit his assist total in this one, so we're not even thinking twice about throwing this into our parlay. 

Barrett might average only 2.9 assists per game, but he is a very good playmaker on the wing. And considering this game between the Knicks and Pacers projects to be a high-scoring one, you can count on Barrett to have a few more on-ball opportunities than usual here. That should result in another assist or two.

LEG 3: Jamal Murray Over 2.5 Made Threes (+130) with DraftKings

Charlotte Hornets vs. Denver Nuggets, 8:00PM ET

Murray has had eight games in which he has hit at least three triples this season, and that's something we expect him to do a lot more moving forward. He is one of the better scoring guards in the league, but it has taken him some time to get comfortable on the court after tearing his ACL two seasons ago. 

This game represents a great opportunity for Murray to go off. While we like the Hornets to cover the spread tonight, Charlotte is all the way down at 27th in the league in defensive rating this season. The Hornets can't guard anyone this year, which means Murray should get some good looks at the basket.
