Friday NBA Parlay Analysis
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30PM ET
LEG 1: Al Horford 3+ Threes (+220) with DraftKings
Let's not beat around the bush here: Joel Embiid is hurt. The newly-crowned MVP looked a shell of himself in Game 2 as the Sixers got blown out. While he might be better for the run around in Boston, the Celtics very clearly identified a way to exploit his lack of mobility through Al Horford who shot eight attempts from long range in the big win. While he only nailed one of them, the intent there was clear and the Celts should look to try again with Horford who is a 44.6% from three threat this season.
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30PM ET
LEG 2: Derrick White Over 12.5 Points (+100) with DraftKings
Derrick White had a quiet game in the series opener but roared back to life along with his teammates in Game 2 with a better shooting performance to notch 15 points. White's shooting volume is relatively modest but we should expect to see at least 10 shot attempts in Game 3 with a healthy serving of three-balls scattered around there. Our model has White going for 16 points.
Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns, 10:00PM ET
LEG 3: Kevin Durant Over 29.5 Points (-113) with DraftKings
Kevin Durant was ordinary in Phoenix's Game 2 loss, but the good news for bettors is that KD rarely has two bad games in a row. The Suns head home for Game 3, favored by the 'books to peg back this 0-2 deficit and Durant will be the focal point of the offense. Something that stuck out from the previous game's loss is the lack of free throw attempts he had with just two. Look for the home calls go the way of Durant, and for his shooting to be better this time. Our projections have him down for 34 points.
