NBA Parlay Today, Friday February 24, 2023

Friday NBA Parlay Analysis

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks, 7:30PM ET

LEG 1: Donovan Mitchell Over 3.5 Threes (+130) with DraftKings

Nate McMillan is out as head coach of the Hawks, but will the change in coaching lead to an immediate impact in the way Atlanta defend the three-ball? Our model doesn't think so.

Atlanta have allowed an average of 13.5 threes per game over their last 15, placing them 25th in the league during that span. That's good news for the Cavs, and in particular Donovan Mitchell, who torched this team the last time he met them back in November with four from deep. Mitchell is attempting an average of 9.4 threes per game this season and should once again see a healthy volume tonight. The plus money on offer here is too good to refuse.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 8:00PM ET

LEG 2: Mike Conley Over 6.5 Assists (-148) with DraftKings

With the Conley and Gobert connection back in effect in Minnesota, we're expecting big things from the new Timberwolves point guard tonight as he faces off against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Hornets' intentions for the rest of this season are clear, and they give up a boatload of points - 118.9 points per game to be exact. With Conley running point, we're projecting him to weave his magic and tear apart this weak D. Our DimersBOT projects 9 dimes.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 8:00PM ET

LEG 3: LaMelo Ball Over 3.5 Threes Made (-110) with DraftKings

Sticking with Hornets/Wolves, and while we've said enough about the Hornets on defense, our model still likes at least some form of production out of LaMelo Ball. The guard is attempting an insane average of 10 threes per game in the month of February, and he's been nailing them at a good clip of 39%. Our projections have him keeping that trend up with another four tonight.
