Best NBA Player Props Today

Indiana Pacers vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:00PM ET

James Harden is coming off of a game in which he racked up 11 assists in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Now, he'll face a similar opponent on Monday, as the Pacers are another young team that doesn't play defense. Both teams are outside the top 10 in defensive efficiency early in the year, so we expect Harden to pick Indiana apart here. 

Our DimersBOT has Harden averaging 11.9 assists per game in 10,000 simulations of this very game, so this is a play we like a lot. He should have no trouble getting by the Pacers guards, who aren't known for their perimeter defense. That will allow him to find his shooters or get the ball to Joel Embiid in favorable spots.

Orlando Magic vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET

There might not be a player in the league that has upped his game as much as Franz Wagner has. We highlighted Wagner as a great bet to win the Most Improved Player award before the year, as we saw the work he was doing with Germany's EuroBasket team over the summer. This is very much a player that is ready to start making All-Star teams soon. 

To start the year, Wagner has scored at least 18 points in two of his three games, and he only needs to score 17 in order to cash in on tonight's prop bet. Our model has him as one of the top edges of the day, as it simulated this game 10,000 times and he averaged 19.9 points per game in those contests. That's in line with what we're expecting from him, as a 20-point game definitely seems like a likely scenario here.  

The Knicks have seemingly improved a lot from last season to now, but Wagner will arguably be the best player on the floor tonight.
