Free NBA Picks For Monday February 7, 2022
Heat vs. Wizards, 7:00PM ET
The Heat travel to Washington tonight to visit a Wizards team badly in need of some good luck. The Wiz, who will be without Bradley Beal once again who is sidelined with a wrist injury, have lost eight of their last ten games and have been struggling on their home floor recently, going five straight games without covering. Miami, on the other hand, are getting it all to click with their ultra-deep squad continuing to solidify their spot as one of the teams to beat in the Eastern Conference this year. They’re coming off the back of two consecutive wins by double digits over the Hornets and Spurs and should have no problems covering a relatively thin line in the nation’s capital.
BET: Heat -4.5 (-110)

Raptors vs. Hornets, 7:00PM ET
Charlotte have made a staple this season of their run-and-gun offense, but that has ground to a complete and utter halt in their past five games. Going at 113 points per game over the season, enough to rank as the second best offense in the league, the Hornets have only been able to muster just a touch over 100 points over the past week on their way to four consecutive defeats. They’ll be hoping to get it together tonight against a Raptors team who are on a tear as they storm up the standings, having won five on the bounce. Ultimately, though, it’s far too hard to look past Toronto in this one.

Knicks vs. Jazz, 9:00PM ET
After an impossible loss to begin their west coast road trip on Saturday night against the Lakers, New York will look to atone against the Jazz in Salt Lake City. While the OT loss was bad for the Knicks who led by double digits for long stretches of the game, they’ll be buoyed by the fact that they continue to flow offensively, having scored an average of 111 points per game over their last four outings. They’ll need every bit of that offense against the Jazz, who rank 1st in the NBA for points per contest with 113.6. Given the offensive prowess of Utah, and New York’s current form, it’s hard to reason why the total here is so low, especially given the fact that the Knicks are playing at one of the fastest tempos in the league with 107 possessions per game over their last three (only the Grizzlies have played quicker over the same stretch). This one has all the makings of a fast one with a lot of points.
BET: Total points OVER 212.5
