Free NBA Picks For Friday February 4, 2022

Cavaliers vs. Hornets, 7:00PM ET

The Cavs are going through a little rough patch. In three consecutive games against three of the worst teams in the league in the Rockets, Pelicans and Pistons, they were only able to pull out a W against New Orleans, and only just. Darius Garland's absence has been a big factor in that. He's missed the last two games and is already confirmed as out for tonight's tilt against the Hornets. Charlotte aren't exactly setting the world alight themselves having lost two on the bounce, but they will have a motivated LaMelo Ball at their disposal who you can count on putting in a big performance after being shunned for an All-Star berth last night. We've got the Hornets.

Pelicans vs. Nuggets, 9:00PM ET

The Nuggets with a tiny line at home against the Pelicans - a team they beat by double digits a week ago? I'm diving into this trap. Denver are at full strength and are coming off some tough losses to the Jazz and Timberwolves, but this is simply a gimme on their home floor.

Nets vs. Jazz, 9:00PM ET

The Nets are enduring a horrific stretch of form not seen since the era of the big 3, but this is the comeback game. Utah are a historically good defensive team, but Brooklyn's two offensive juggernauts - James Harden and Kyrie Irving - relish the chance to match up against them. Harden and Kyrie average 34 and 28 points respectively over their last five meetings each. Good players never stay down long and you won't get too many chances to take the Nets with this many points so take advantage.
