NBA Player Props Thursday June 2, 2022
Game 7: Celtics vs. Warriors, 9:00PM ET
PICK: Al Horford OVER 3.5 assists (+118)
Despite Marcus Smart officially taking the title on this Celts team as Point Guard, he's not the kind of playmaking ball-handling PG in the ilk of Chris Paul or Kyle Lowry - the load is often shared and assists can come from anywhere - even from Al Horford. The Boston big man averages 52 passes per game during this postseason (third on the team behind Smart on 59 passes per game and Tatum on 52.6). This is translating to dimes, with a potential assist rate of 6.6 per game. At plus money, getting Horford to notch at least 4 assists is too good to pass up - our projections has Al down for 5 assists.
PICK: Steph Curry OVER 1.5 steals (+200)
This one feels like crazy value considering the Celtics are on the road and have two players who have problems with keeping the ball. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown rank 6th and 13th-worst respectively of all players this postseason for turnovers per game with 4.3 and 3. Things could get nervy early for Boston, and Golden State with their experience could force some silly turnovers. DimersBOT has identified some great value in locking in Steph to get at least 2 steals.
PICK: Andrew Wiggins OVER 15.5 points (-124)
Our projections has the Andrew Wiggins redemption tour continuing in the Finals with a big game slated for the former No. 1 pick. Wiggins has been on a tear this postseason, hitting this mark in 8 of his last 10 games. Wiggins is a lock to get 38-40 minutes in this game and should be treated with respect.
