NBA Player Props Monday June 13, 2022
Game 5: Celtics vs. Warriors, 9:00PM ET
PICK: Kevon Looney OVER 7.5 rebounds (-134)
Looney got an extended run off the bench in Game 4, putting in a series-high 28 minutes, nabbing 11 rebounds. The Warriors lack of size has turned out to be an issue for them at times through this series, with Draymond Green not supplying the same kind of presence that he once did. Given the fact that Golden State got out of Boston with the win, it stands to reason that Looney should be given a similar opportunity in Game 5.
PICK: Draymond Green OVER 6.5 assists (+112)
While he's looked old and slow at times, Darymond is still producing for prop bettors - and that's all that matters for us, right? He leads the Warriors in assists per game this series at 5.8 and he also leads the team in potential assists per game at 10.5, indicating that this line is pretty low considering that Green is a capable threat for 9-10 dimes.
PICK: Jayson Tatum UNDER 27.5 points (-120)
Tatum has struggled to score this series at times, only hitting this points prop mark in one out of the first four games. The main issue appears to be in the fourth quarters where he is averaging just 2.8 points on 25% shooting - but given the other offensive options at the Celtics' disposal, it's not exactly an issue that is requiring him to force it to make something happen for his team. If the shot isn't going in, he can easily defer to Jaylen Brown or even Marcus Smart. We've got this line being a little too high.
