Bucks vs. Celtics: NBA Betting Predictions, Picks and Odds for Christmas Day - Sunday, December 25

In a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Boston Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks for some Christmas Day NBA action. It isn't out of the question that these two will meet with a spot in the NBA Finals on the line later in the year, so this is a matchup that everybody should be extremely excited about. This game will begin at 5:00PM ET on Sunday, December 25, when these two talented teams will clash at TD Garden. Last year's playoff series between these two was played without Khris Middleton, who is dealing with some knee soreness right now. But it was still an incredible series and that's why we're expecting a great game here.

Here is Dimers' free betting preview for Bucks vs. Celtics, plus our picks, score prediction, best odds and player props are featured in this article.

Bucks vs. Celtics Betting Preview

Last year, the Bucks pushed the Celtics to a seven-game series in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, despite the fact that Middleton was out for the series. Giannis Antetokounmpo averaged 33.9 points, 14.7 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals per game in that series, doing absolutely everything that Milwaukee needed from him. However, it ultimately wasn't enough and Boston went on to lose in the NBA Finals.

It's unclear whether or not Middleton will be out there when this game tips on Sunday, but these are once again two teams that are at the top of the Eastern Conference standings. We could see them face one another in the Eastern Conference Finals in 2023, and they will surely treat this game with some serious importance — especially with the Celtics having struggled recently.

Considering Boston hasn't been playing well as of late, we expect the team to really dial it in and play hard in this one. The Celtics can use a confidence booster and winning this game would definitely set the team up to make a nice run at the end of 2022 and beginning of 2023.

Boston also happens to be 47-28 against the spread when facing teams with winning records since the start of last season. The Celtics have won those games by an average of 6.2 points per game.
