Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Wednesday, January 25, 2023

We're here to narrow down a 10-game NBA slate by providing you with our three best bets of the evening for Wednesday, January 25. Tonight, basketball fans will get to see an ESPN doubleheader in which the Philadelphia 76ers host the Brooklyn Nets and the Memphis Grizzlies face the Golden State Warriors. Both of those games should be extremely fun to watch, but we're looking elsewhere for our three favorite picks. With that in mind, you'll need to keep reading to find out what we're targeting. Also, keep an eye out for our NBA player props parlay, which could make for an even bigger payday this evening. We have hit a lot of those this season, thanks to our predictive analytics and artificial intelligence.

Best NBA Bets Today

Washington Wizards vs. Houston Rockets, 8:00PM ET

The Wizards are 21-33 against the spread when playing against teams with losing records over the last two seasons, and Washington has lost those games by an average of 2.8 points per game. The Wizards are also just 16-29 ATS as favorites in that same span, so this isn't exactly a situation that is comfortable to them. On top of that, they're coming off of a road game in Dallas that went down to the wire, so they might be a little tired when they face a Rockets team that is coming off a win.

Also, with Kristaps Porzingis out, the Wizards are missing a guy that can score the basketball and protect the rim. He'll be missed in this meeting with a Rockets team that will look to pound the ball inside to Alperen Sengun as much as possible. The Houston big man should be able to dominate this game, which is a big part of the reason we like his squad to cover — and potentially win outright.

DID YOU KNOW? Houston's Jalen Green has collected more than 3.5 rebounds in 10 of his last 13 appearances.? That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8:00PM ET

Our DimersBOT gives the Hawks a good shot at covering the spread in tonight's game, and it isn't too hard to figure out why. For starters, Atlanta has the firepower in the backcourt to match the production of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has turned into a legitimate star this season. The Hawks will be counting on Trae Young and Dejounte Murray to do that, and we like their chances. But Atlanta also has advantages throughout the rest of the rotation, so the talent favors the road team here.

The Hawks also happen to be 23-9 ATS when trying to get revenge for a home loss against an opponent under head coach Nate McMillan. And the Thunder won by seven as 6-point underdogs in Atlanta on December 5. With that in mind, we expect McMillan to make some sound adjustments to help his team earn a big win.

SAY WHAT? Atlanta's Trae Young has scored more than 25.5 points in 11 of his last 17 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

BET: Hawks -1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:30PM ET

The Lakers are coming off of a tough loss to the Los Angeles Clippers last night, so we expect them to be a little exhausted both physically and mentally. Now, they take on a Spurs team that can be rather feisty, as San Antonio has covered in 10 of its last 15 games. Los Angeles is also 3-11 ATS when coming off a loss of 10 or more points this year.

This is a game that the Lakers really should win, and we're not ruling out the possibility of them doing so. But San Antonio has already lost three games against Los Angeles this season, with the Spurs failing to cover in each of those contests. And Gregg Popovich is far too good of a coach to let his team fail to make things competitive in this fourth one.

San Antonio will be missing Devin Vassell here, but the team has enough wings to get things done. And Tre Jones could be an X-factor for the Lakers with his pesky point-of-attack defense and ability to make plays for others on offense.

BET: Spurs +6 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
