Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Wednesday, February 1, 2023
We're 9-3 with our NBA best bets over the last four days, so we're feeling good about ourselves heading into the Wednesday, February 1 slate. We have a loaded evening full of basketball, with the featured games pitting the Brooklyn Nets against the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks versus the Phoenix Suns in an ESPN doubleheader. We have a pick for both of those games, and we're also interested in the meeting between the Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs. These picks are made with our expert's matchup analysis, but we also factor in our predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. We strongly suggest backing these, as they have been profitable all year. But we also want you to check out our NBA player props parlay, which will give you a shot at cashing in a big plus-money play. We hit it at +661 odds last night!

Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30PM ET
The Nets and Celtics will meet in the first of two ESPN games tonight, but this game will be lacking a little juice with Ben Simmons, T.J. Warren and Kevin Durant all out for Brooklyn. The Nets still have Kyrie Irving out there to try and carry his team, but the Celtics should be able to do a good enough job of limiting the open attempts his teammates get from behind the three-point line.
Boston also just has a clear edge on the wing, where either Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown will be free to cook in isolation situations. Who it will be will just come down to which of these players doesn't end up being covered by Royce O'Neale. The Celtics also just have rock-solid guard options, even without Marcus Smart in the lineup. Look for Derrick White and Malcolm Brogdon to play well in this spot.
We should also note that Boston is 2-0 both straight-up and against the spread against Brooklyn this season. The Celtics won both meetings by 11 points.
DID YOU KNOW? Boston's Malcolm Brogdon has scored more than 14.5 points in 9 of his last 12 appearances? That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs, 8:00PM ET
The Kings are second in the NBA in offensive rating and eight in the league in pace of play. Meanwhile, the Spurs are ninth in the NBA in pace of play and last in the league in defensive rating. That means that this is a situation in which Sacramento could hang a massive number on its opponent, but we also see San Antonio doing its part to help Over bettors.
The Over is actually 7-3 in the last 10 games that the Spurs have played, and they generally have huge totals listed for their contests. In fact, they went Over the last time they faced this Kings team, and that was a game in which the total was set at 246 on January 15.
Look for Sacramento's guards, De'Aaron Fox and Kevin Huerter, to get hot in this one, and just knowing going in that this won't be your dad's type of NBA game.
SAY WHAT? Sacramento's Kevin Huerter has recorded more than 2.5 assists in eight of his last 10 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns, 10:00PM ET
Over the last two seasons, the Suns are 18-7 ATS when playing as home favorites of 6 or fewer points. Phoenix has won those games by an average of 7.9 points per game, and the team also has the luxury of going up against an Atlanta squad that is 15-29 ATS as a road underdog since the start of last season.
The Suns also happen to be playing some fantastic basketball right now, as they are 6-1 both SU and ATS over the last seven games — and something tells us that they might have won that Mavericks game on January 26 had Luka Doncic not gotten hurt and made for a let-down performance. The recent surge has been spearheaded by the return of Cam Johnson from his knee injury, but also Chris Paul returning to his 2020-22 form and Mikal Bridges taking his game to a completely different level. Bridges is averaging 19.3 points per game in the month of January, while also playing great defense on the other end.
Atlanta definitely has an edge in the backcourt in this game, but Phoenix has the visitors beat on the wing. With that said, we like the Suns to get the job done at home, even without Devin Booker. Our DimersBOT gives Phoenix a good shot at covering, too.
TREND: We've also identified an NBA trend for Phoenix's Chris Paul that's worth consideration. Paul has scored more than 17.5 points in seven of his last 10 appearances.
