Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Wednesday, December 14, 2022

We see some picks that we love on the board for Wednesday, so make sure you check out what we have for our NBA best bets. We make these with a combination of key stats, public betting information and trends, as well as some artificial intelligence from our DimersBOT NBA predictions. With that said, keep reading so that we can help you narrow down what you should be taking on a loaded Wednesday of NBA betting. The slate is highlighted by the New York Knicks facing the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves in an ESPN doubleheader. We are, however, looking to some of the other games for our picks.

You're just not a basketball fan if you're not sitting down and soaking in some of these games, so why not get some bets on them in the process? Not only are we confident in our ability to deliver winning picks, but we also have risk-free sportsbook promos that can get you some free money. With that in mind, make sure you check out our NBA best bets for Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Also, try to check out our NBA player props parlay for tonight!

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

The Warriors let us down against the Bucks last night and we're now fading them in this meeting with the Pacers. Golden State is just 2-12 straight-up and 3-11 against the spread on the road this season, while Indiana is 8-6 both SU and ATS when playing in one of the greatest basketball states in the world. Now, we think the Pacers will come through at home after having lost two in a row.

Indiana should come out with a serious sense of urgency here, and the team already earned a win over Golden State just last week. The Pacers won by eight points as an 11-point road underdog in that one, with the team shooting 47.8% from the floor and 38.5% from three. We're just skeptical about whether this Warriors defense can come up with stops against a Pacers team that is very tough to cover.

Also, Golden State is just 36-54 ATS on the road in games with lines of +3 to -3 under Steve Kerr.

BET: Pacers +1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Detroit Pistons vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:00PM ET

If you can't stomach watching two seven-win teams tonight, feel free to bet this and forget this. But we just can't pass up taking the Over here, as the Hornets haven't been able to stop anyone lately. Charlotte has given up at least 120 points in each of its last three games, and the Over has now hit in five of the team's last seven.

As for the Pistons, the team is coming off a game in which it combined to score 241 points in a meeting with the Lakers. The Over is also 4-3 in Detroit's last seven games, so this is also a team that has been playing some high-scoring games lately. Losing Cade Cunningham for the season is a blow to the Pistons offense, but it's also a blow to their defense. Cunningham is a smart, multi-positional defender and his absence will mean some more Overs for Detroit.

The reality here is that both of these teams are right near the bottom of the league in defensive rating. So, even if the firepower might not seem like it's there, this Over definitely seems like it's going to hit.

BET: Over 227 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8:00PM ET

The Heat have quite a few players that are playing banged up and Jimmy Butler (knee) will miss this meeting with Oklahoma City. Without Butler, it's just hard to see Miami coming away with a road win in this one — which means we would suggest sprinkling a little on the Thunder to win on the moneyline.

With Butler out, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is easily the best player that will be on the floor tonight, and Oklahoma City's supporting cast won't look much worse than Miami's anymore. The Thunder also happen to have a better offensive rating than the Heat this season, which is important when you consider that Miami will be missing one of its key defenders — and the team has taken a step back on that end of the floor this year.

We're just surprised to see that the Thunder are getting points at home in a meeting with a shorthanded Heat squad, so we're jumping on this one and going a bit bigger on it.

BET: Thunder +3 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
