Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Tuesday, January 24, 2023

We've turned in back-to-back winning nights with our NBA best bets, so let's make it three in a row when we attack the Tuesday, January 24 slate. Tonight, the NBA has a TNT doubleheader that features the Boston Celtics facing the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Los Angeles Clippers. We're passing on that first game, but we do have a little something for you in the second. But the matchups all throughout The Association are top notch tonight, so make sure you park yourself in front of a television and watch some basketball. Also, keep an eye out for our NBA player props parlay, which could make for an even bigger payday this evening. We have hit a lot of those this season, thanks to our predictive analytics and artificial intelligence.

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

We had the Bulls as one of our Monday picks and they came through for us, and we're confident they can do that again. Chicago has been playing some good basketball over the last two or so months, with the team being 11-6 straight-up and 12-4-1 against the spread in its last 17 games. Now, the Bulls will look to build on that by beating a Pacers team that they beat by 15 points when they met back in October.

This is a game in which we'd normally have no trouble getting behind the Pacers, but Tyrese Haliburton remains out for Indiana. And Andrew Nembhard, the team's other point guard, will either be out for this game or playing through an illness. With that in mind, it's not fair to expect Indiana to beat a good Chicago squad.

We also like that Nikola Vucevic is a pick-and-pop big for the Bulls. That should pull Myles Turner, an elite shot blocker, away from the basket, giving Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan lanes to drive.

Our model is also high on the Bulls to steal this one on the road.

DID YOU KNOW? Chicago's Nikola Vucevic has collected more than 12.5 rebounds in nine of his last 12 appearances? That and more in our NBA Trends section.

BET: Bulls -1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET

The Knicks either run really hot or really cold, with nothing in between. New York had won seven of its previous eight games before going on a four-game losing streak entering this one. Now, the team hosts a Cleveland squad that will be looking for revenge after an 11-point loss at Madison Square Garden on December 4.

The Cavaliers are coming off a great performance against the Milwaukee Bucks, as they won by 12 points as 2.5-point favorites. And since JB Bickerstaff took over as Cleveland's head coach, the Cavaliers are 33-19 ATS when coming off a win by 10 or more points. Cleveland has also had two full days of rest entering this one, while New York had to fly back from a road game against the Toronto Raptors.

The Cavaliers are also just a better basketball team at every level. Of course, the Knicks were able to earn one win over them this season, but it's hard to envision it happening again. Cleveland shot 34.9% from the floor in the previous win for New York. The Cavaliers are too good to shoot that poorly twice in a row against an opponent.

SAY WHAT? Cleveland's Evan Mobley has recorded more than 2.5 assists in 16 of his last 25 appearances. You can find more stats like this in our NBA Trends section.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00PM ET

In a crosstown rivalry, the Lakers will be hoping to pull off an upset against the Clippers. We don't necessarily suggest betting that to happen, but we do think LeBron James' team will find a way to make this competitive. While the Clippers are limping into this game, the Lakers have won three of their last four and are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games.

The Clippers are the more talented team in this matchup, but they rarely ever have their team at full strength. That has made it hard for them to find any sort of rhythm, so we find it likely that LeBron will find a way to give his team a chance to win this one late. If he can do that, covering a 5-point spread shouldn't be a problem.

TREND: We've also identified an NBA trend for the Lakers' LeBron James that's worth consideration. LeBron has scored more than 31.5 points in nine of his last 14 appearances.

BET: Lakers +5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
