Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Tuesday, December 27, 2022

After going 3-0 with our Monday night NBA best bets, we're hoping to give you a few more winners for an absolutely loaded Tuesday, December 27 slate. Tonight's featured game sees the New York Knicks facing the Dallas Mavericks on NBA TV, so you'll get to see Jalen Brunson in his return to Dallas. That should make for some drama after the Knicks were caught tampering in order to get him from the Mavericks. We are, however, looking to three other games for our picks, so keep reading to find out what we have tonight. Also, make sure you check out our NBA player props parlay for the day. We're hoping to turn a small bet into a big payout using our artificial intelligence and predictive analytics. And we did hit that parlay last night, so we're feeling good about these.

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

Atlanta Hawks vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:30PM ET

The Hawks haven't played a game since December 23, so they have had some time to rest and think about this meeting with the Pacers — and how to fix things moving forward, in general. Meanwhile, Indiana got blown out in a road loss to the New Orleans Pelicans last night, so this team could be tired after having traveled back home for this one. With that in mind, it's hard not to see the value in taking the Hawks to emerge victorious in what should be a fast-paced game.

For as good as the Pacers backcourt can be, the Hawks have them beat in that area and that's hard to ignore here. Indiana is also 20-34 against the spread when coming off a road loss over the last two seasons, and the team is just 15-26 ATS in games with lines of +3 to -3 in that span. This Pacers team has exceeded expectations all year, but this is a tough spot for them. Look for Trae Young and Dejounte Murray to really light it up here.

BET: Hawks -1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics, 7:30PM ET

The Rockets are coming off a game in which 251 total points were scored, but they could be a little fatigued after playing in that type of shootout last night. Houston also had to get out of Chicago and head to Boston for this one, and it's never easy to play a road back-to-back. With that in mind, we're expecting to see some tired legs, which could lead to an Under.

It's a little terrifying betting an Under in a game with two teams that probably prefer to get into a track meet here, but the Under is actually 8-2 in the 10 games the Rockets have played after a win by 15+ under head coach Stephen Silas. This is generally not a team you can trust on back-to-back nights, and it's not a team that knows how to bring it after a big win. That probably has something to do with this being such a young team. Regardless, we're expecting this to be somewhat sloppy.

BET: Under 231.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Phoenix Suns vs. Memphis Grizzlies, 8:00PM ET

The Suns have been playing extremely poorly recently, and that's something that is true even when the team is at full strength. But in tonight's meeting with the Grizzlies, Monty Williams' team will be without Devin Booker, Landry Shamet and Cam Johnson. That means that Phoenix will be without a lot of its perimeter scoring options. Shamet might not seem like much, but he had been lighting it up with Booker sidelined. Now, the Suns really don't have many players they can run their offense through, and that spells trouble against a Grizzlies team that is as explosive as anyone offensively.

It's just really hard to see a scenario in which Phoenix is able to keep up with Memphis, which is why this game has the potential to turn into a blowout. The Grizzlies won by 25 when these teams met at the Footprint Center last Friday, and the Suns had Shamet in that one. With this being a home game for Memphis, it's just hard to imagine this not having a similar outcome.

BET: Grizzlies -7.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
