Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Tuesday, December 20, 2022

We have profited in each of our last five nights of giving you our NBA best bets, so make sure you check out what we have in store for Tuesday, December 20. The slate for tonight features a TNT doubleheader in which the Golden State Warriors face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, while the Memphis Grizzlies will face the Denver Nuggets in the nightcap. We have picks for both of those games for you, but we're also taking something in a matchup between the struggling Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat. We also have an NBA player props parlay that you'll want to throw a little something on, as we've hit a few of these this year and it can be an instant bankroll booster.

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat, 7:30PM ET

The Bulls are in a bad way at the moment, as they have lost four games in a row and seven of their last nine. This is, however, a very solid basketball team, so Chicago should pick it up soon. And the Bulls are now facing a Heat team that they actually earned an eight-point win over as 7.5-point underdogs back on October 19. Also, Miami is coming off a 10-point win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, but the Heat are just 77-101 against the spread when playing at home after a double-digit win under head coach Erik Spoelstra.

It should also be noted that the Heat might have a winning record right now, but they still have a net rating of -1.0. With that in mind, this is a very beatable opponent for Chicago, which is why we think Miami is laying too many points here. Our DimersBOT agrees, as it gives the Bulls a 54% shot of covering.

BET: Bulls +4.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks, 7:30PM ET

With Jordan Poole starting in Steph Curry's absence, the Warriors want to play high-scoring, fast-paced games. We saw that when Golden State dropped 126 in a win over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. That is, however, the opposite of the way New York wants to play. The Knicks are ninth in the league in defensive rating and they're just 16th in the league in pace of play. With that in mind, New York knows its strengths and that's especially true now. Over the last seven games, the Knicks have the best defensive rating in basketball and are playing at a slower pace than all but six teams. And it's no coincidence that New York has won seven in a row.

Considering the Knicks want to turn this into something of a half-court slugfest, we're rolling with the Under. The Under has been a winning bet in eight of the last nine games that New York has played, and the Under also happens to be 25-8 when the Knicks are playing a home against an opponent that beat them earlier in the season since the start of the 2020-21 season.

BET: Under 221.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Denver Nuggets, 10:00PM ET

It's a little surprising to see that the Nuggets opened as favorites against this Grizzlies team, even with Desmond Bane still sidelined for Memphis. Despite the fact that the Grizzlies are coming off of a road loss as 10-point favorites against the Oklahoma City Thunder, this team has been an absolute wagon all year. And we have generally seen Memphis getting up for big games, with the team earning a 41-point win over the Milwaukee Bucks just five days ago.

It's just really tough to ask the Nuggets to earn a win over the Grizzlies right now. That might not be the case later in the year, as Denver should get Michael Porter Jr. back — and Jamal Murray is only going to continue getting better as he continues to try and get comfortable in his return from a torn ACL. But right now, the Grizzlies are just a much better basketball team. And Memphis is 18-6 ATS when coming off a road loss over the last two seasons, with the team winning those games by an average of 8.3 points per game.

BET: Grizzlies -1.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
