Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Sunday, January 15, 2023

Best NBA Bets Today

Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls, 3:30PM ET

This total is definitely a little higher than you might want it to be as a potential Over bettor, but how can you not back this to be a high-scoring game? Golden State has gone Over in four of its last five games, with the last one seeing the Warriors and San Antonio Spurs combining to score 257 points. In fact, Golden State has now had at least 240 points scored in three of its last five games, so that should show you that this number is far from out of reach. 

The Bulls have also been an offensive force in recent weeks, with Chicago being sixth in the league in offensive rating over its last 15 games. And with Golden State being third in the league in pace of play in that same span — and now having Steph Curry back — we just don't see how this will be anything other than a shootout. 

The Over is also 45-27 in Bulls games against Western Conference opponents since Billy Donovan took over as the head coach of Chicago.

Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs, 7:00PM ET

The Spurs are back in the mix for the top pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, despite getting off to a hot start to the year. San Antonio has, however, been playing some solid basketball of late, with the Spurs being 8-3 against the spread in its previous 11 games. Now, they'll look to cover against a Kings team that they lost to by 18 points when they met on November 17. But in his illustrious career, Gregg Popovich's San Antonio squad is 189-151 ATS when facing a team that it lost to by 10 or more points earlier in the season. So, the legendary coach should have his team prepared to fix some mistakes here. 

The Kings are also coming off a pair of breezy double-digit wins at home over the Houston Rockets in their previous two games. And while Houston might be more talented than San Antonio, the Spurs play a better brand of basketball. That could catch the Kings a little by surprise, as they haven't been challenged in nearly a week. 

San Antonio has also covered in each of its last five home games, so we're confident the team can keep things close at home.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 9:30PM ET

The Sixers have played a lot of games over the last two weeks, and they're actually just 7-21 ATS when playing eight or more games in their previous 14 days since the start of last season. Philadelphia is a team that needs rest even more than others, with Joel Embiid being a player that occasionally gets a little banged up, or just fatigued. Now, the Sixers will face a Lakers team that is 3-2 straight-up and 3-1-1 ATS in its last five games. 

While Los Angeles will need to play a really good game in order to beat this Philadelphia team, we do see the Lakers showing up in a big way here. This is a very big game for Los Angeles, which also has the luxury of having last played on Thursday. This well-rested group should look like it's flying compared to a team that played a close game against the Utah Jazz just last night. 

Look for LeBron James to have a massive game on the offensive end, with the Sixers lacking a big wing with the ability to slow him down.
