Best NBA Bets Today

Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets, 6:00PM ET

The Celtics have been the best team in the league to start the season, but the Nets are playing some great basketball right now. Brooklyn has won four in a row and is also 7-2 in its last nine games. This team is going to be eager to get out there and play at home against an opponent like this one.

The Celtics swept the Nets in the postseason last year and a lot of people came for Kevin Durant's head after that series. But we're expecting the superstar to really try and prove a point in this game, so don't be surprised if he puts the Nets on his back in this spot. This could also be a big one for Kyrie Irving, who would love to light up his former team.

Over the last two seasons, Boston is actually just 4-16 against the spread when facing teams that are outrebounded by 3.0 or more rebounds per game. It's odd that the Celtics can struggle with poor rebounding teams, but they have only beaten them by 1.3 points per game in that span. A close margin like that would mean a cover for the Nets.

BET: Nets +3 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks, 6:00PM ET

This is a game in which we're really just looking to keep it pretty simple. The Knicks have shown that they can be good in spurts this season, but they rarely put together a complete 48 minutes. This is just a team that really needs to make a coaching change, but it doesn't look like that move is coming anytime soon. With that in mind, the Knicks should continue to struggle — especially against teams like the Cavaliers.

Even without Jarrett Allen in this game, Cleveland will still have the edge on the inside here. Evan Mobley is the best big man in this matchup, by far. The Cavaliers are also better all throughout the lineup, but the backcourt is where things can get messy for the Knicks. Jalen Brunson has played well for New York this year, but asking him to go out and hold his own against Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell just isn't fair. Mitchell will also be motivated by the fact that the Knicks weren't able to get their deal done to acquire him before the Cavs did.

Also, since J.B. Bickerstaff became the Cleveland head coach, the Cavs are 20-8 ATS off home wins by 10 or more points. They're also facing a Knicks team that is 2-12 ATS in home games against teams that outscore opponents by 3.0 or more points per game under Tom Thibodeau.

BET: Cavaliers -3 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Indiana Pacers vs. Portland Trail Blazers, 9:00PM ET

We've been really high on the Pacers all season and we now like them to find a way to cover against the Blazers. Portland is coming off a tough road win over Utah on Saturday, which means this is a prime letdown spot for the Blazers. Meanwhile, the Pacers have to have this game circled as one of the more winnable contests on their seven-game road trip. They have also had an extra day of rest compared to their opponent here.

Indiana also happens to be a tough matchup for Portland at the moment. Anfernee Simons has been phenomenal for the Blazers lately, but the Pacers will have an advantage in the backcourt if Damian Lillard (questionable) is out for this one. That's just very hard to ignore in what should be a pretty high-scoring game. Just keep an eye on the status of Tyrese Haliburton, who is questionable for this one. We'd pass on it if the young star is out, or if Lillard is in.

BET: Pacers +3.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
