The Nets have been doing okay since losing Kyrie Irving to suspension with a 3-1 record after Irving was removed from the team. While that statistic looks impressive, the wins have come against middling teams in the Knicks, Hornets and Wizards. They head across the country for a West Coast road trip, starting in Los Angeles this afternoon, to take on a Clippers team that is above .500 and has the depth required to cover the missing Kawhi Leonard. 

Brooklyn's best hope to win this game will be to get another monumentally big performance out of Kevin Durant who is basically it for this squad right now. The only problem is that with a lack of star power for the Nets, one of the best defensive players in the league in Paul George will have little else to contend with on the defensive end than to focus solely on shutting KD down. The home team is simply too strong here.

Toronto Raptors vs. Indiana Pacers, 7:00PM ET

The Raptors were nothing short of pitiful against the Thunder in a 19 point loss last night, showing how badly they miss Pascal Siakam who will be missing again tonight as he recovers from an adductor strain injury that he picked up late last week. Without their big man, they could be in for another rough night as they head across to Indiana to take on the Pacers who are riding a wave of an in-form Myles Turner. The Indiana Center has notched two straight double-doubles, including a 37-point, 11-rebound performance against the Pelicans on November 7. With Siakam out, and the so far underwhelming Christian Koloko filling in, the Pacers have exactly the type of matchup they want and can exploit it.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30PM ET

Sitting at 5-7 and with James Harden on the sidelines with injury, the Sixers are a team that is reeling - and they're coming off a bad loss to this very Atlanta team on Thursday night. Media pundits have labelled Philly as a lazy team, and their current record certainly suggests that. With a return meeting between the two teams tonight, the 'books have skewed the line in favor of the home team, expecting some positive shooting regression after their guys shot dismally from range (20%). This reeks of an early season misread by the sportsbooks here. The Hawks are 3-2 on the road this season and will be walking into the Wells Fargo beaming with confidence. We'll gladly take the points.
