Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7:00PM ET

Last year, the Hawks won and covered in all four of their meetings with the Cavaliers. Of course, this Cleveland team now has Donovan Mitchell at the shooting guard position. But will he be enough to overcome what was a really poor matchup for the Cavaliers last season? We doubt it. 

These teams are actually somewhat similar in that they both have dynamic backcourts. But one thing that stands out when looking at this game is that the Hawks just make less mistakes with the basketball than the Cavs. This Atlanta team has the lowest turnover percentage in basketball, despite being sixth in the NBA in pace of play. That's a tremendous combo and we're expecting that to matter here. 

We should see special things out of the Trae Young-Dejounte Murray duo, as well as the Mitchell-Darius Garland duo here. But keep an eye on the Hawks wing players. De'Andre Hunter and rookie AJ Griffin could both be huge X-factors in this game.

New York Knicks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder, 8:00PM ET

Since the start of last season, the Thunder are 32-19 against the spread in the first half of the year. They're also 19-7 ATS when playing only their second game in five days in that time, showing that this is a dangerous team when it is well-rested. Also, while Oklahoma City is 3-2 straight-up and 4-1 ATS in its last five games, New York comes into this one after having lost and failed to cover in each of its last two. These teams are just moving in opposite directions right now. 

Not only are the Thunder playing a bit better coming into this game, but they also have better offensive and defensive ratings than the Knicks this season. This Oklahoma City squad is simply a better basketball team than New York, despite the fact that the Knicks had loftier expectations heading into the year. 

It should also be noted that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be the best player on the court in this one, by far. He has the potential to really go off in this game, as the Knicks don't have good options for defending him on the perimeter.

Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls, 8:00PM ET

This game has the potential to be a serious shootout, as the Celtics have the highest offensive rating in basketball and now get to face a mediocre Bulls defense. That is going to result in Boston having a lot of success offensively, which also means that Chicago will need to speed things up and try to keep up. 

These teams have already met twice this season and they are averaging 232.0 points per game in those two games. The Over is also 6-3-1 in the 10 games that the Celtics have played as favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points this season. The Over also happens to be 4-1 when Boston is coming off a game that went Under the total this year. 

All in all, we're just expecting fireworks in this one. There will be a lot of offensive talent on the floor in this game, and all of these players will be given the green light to score.
