Los Angeles Clippers vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:00PM ET

The Hornets have lost and failed to cover in two of their last three games, so it's hard to buy them hanging around against a Clippers team that looks like it might be getting both Paul George and Kawhi Leonhard in the lineup tonight. Both players are listed as questionable for this contest. And if they play, it's just hard to see how Charlotte can keep this close. After all, the Hornets are banged up themselves.

Right now, Charlotte is without LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward and Dennis Smith Jr., so the team is just lacking in guys that can run the offense. With that said, the Clippers would be in decent shape even if their stars are out. Los Angeles is loaded with depth and has guys that can be counted on to score the basketball. The Clippers also have Ivica Zubac, who has the ability to dominate the paint here. 

We're just taking a chance on this spread, as it'd be a bargain if Los Angeles gets all of its talent back. And the Clippers have a good shot without those guys, making it good value.

Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors, 7:30PM ET

The Celtics are coming off of an amazing performance against the Nets, but they put a lot into winning that game on the road — especially on the defensive end. Now, Boston looks to be in a letdown spot against a Toronto team that actually matches up well with its elite opponent here. 

The Raptors just have the length on the wings that you need to compete with a team that contains Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, which is one of the best forward duos in the league. Toronto will utilize the length of Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam by making those two Celtics stars work for everything on both ends of the floor. Fred VanVleet will also look to hit some big shots in a game in which the crowd will be amped up. 

It's never easy betting against the Celtics, but this is just a good spot for the Raptors.

Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks, 8:30PM ET

The Mavericks have won two of their last three games, with wins over the Warriors and Knicks in that time. Now, they'll try and beat a Suns team that they have to feel like they have a mental edge over after beating Phoenix in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals last year. However, the Suns did win when these teams met earlier in the year, and they do come into this game after having won seven of their last eight. 

Phoenix is also 49-29 against the spread after a road win since Monty Williams took over, and the team is also 24-11 ATS as a road underdog of 6 or less points in that time. The Suns, who have been without Chris Paul, Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder for a majority of the season, also happen to be looking good with Cam Payne as starting point guard, with Devin Booker spending more time on the ball than usual. With Paul out, the team should be able to play a little faster and put some pressure on a mediocre Dallas squad. 

We just like the Suns in this one and do think they're worth a moneyline sprinkle.
