Best NBA Bets Today
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves - 7:30PM ET
The Timberwolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns, but this is something of a rivalry game after last year's playoffs. With that said, we expect Minnesota to be hyped up to face Memphis at home, where we'd be surprised if the Timberwolves can't make this one respectable.
Over the last three years, the Grizzlies are just 3-13 against the spread in road games when coming off losses by six or fewer points. Memphis has lost those games by an average of 8.7 points per game, which shows that this is a situation in which the team is very uncomfortable.
The Grizzlies have also lost four games in a row, so they're not in a good way right now, in general. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are 9-4 straight-up in their last 13 games, and they'll have the luxury of facing a Grizzlies team that is without Steven Adams (knee) — and could also be without Desmond Bane (knee).
DID YOU KNOW? Memphis' Kyle Anderson has recorded more than 4.5 assists in eight of his last 12 appearances.? That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder - 8:00PM ET
The Thunder are 8-4 SU and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games, and this is a team that has turned the corner in the confidence department in recent months. Oklahoma City now looks like a real threat to make the NBA Play-In in the Western Conference, and these are exactly the types of games that the Thunder need to win in order to do that.
We like Oklahoma City's chances of doing so here, as the crowd is going to treat this one as a playoff game. And the Thunder happen to have the type of backcourt you need to outperform a Cavaliers squad that has Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell (questionable). Oklahoma City has Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is capable of scoring with whichever one of those. But the star Thunder guard is also a good perimeter defender, and the same goes for Oklahoma City's Lu Dort and Josh Giddey.
We're also just not very worried about the advantage Cleveland has on the inside, as Allen and Mobley aren't going to be looking to score all that much. And it's hard not to like the fact that the Cavaliers are just 38-60 ATS in road games over the last three years.
SAY WHAT? Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has scored more than 29.5 points in seven of his last 11 appearances. That and more in our NBA Trends section.

Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors, 10:00PM ET
The Over is 27-18 in all games that the Warriors have played this season, and it's also 13-4 when the Raptors are coming off a win by 15 or more points over the last three seasons. The Over is also 7-3-1 in Golden State's last 11 games, and it's 12-8 in Toronto's last 20 games. These are two teams that are finding themselves in high-scoring games lately, and we don't see that changing now.
These teams are ranked 16th and 17th in the league in defensive rating this season, yet both have guys that are capable of getting hot in a hurry. That hasn't really been the case all season long for Toronto, but Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent Jr. and Pascal Siakam are all threats to get it going here. And you already know that Golden State has firepower, with Steph Curry, Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins (questionable) all being ready to pop off at any moment.
We're just keeping this one very simple and playing the Over. The Warriors play at the fastest pace in the league, so this one will turn into a track meet.
TREND: We've also identified an NBA trend for Toronto's Fred VanVleet that's worth consideration. VanVleet has recorded more than 6.5 assists in seven of his last 10 appearances.
