Best NBA Betting Picks and Parlay Today - Friday, December 9, 2022

The NBA is back in action on Friday night, and we're hunting a sweep with our best bets for the evening.

You're just not a basketball fan if you're not sitting down and soaking in some of these games, so why not get some action on them in the process? Not only are we confident in our ability to deliver winning picks, but we also have risk-free sportsbook promos that can get you some free money. With that in mind, make sure you check out our NBA best bets for Friday, December 9, 2022.

As always, we've simulated all of the night's NBA games 10,000 times each to determine where the value lies for sports bettors across the United States.

Best NBA Bets Today

New York Knicks vs. Charlotte Hornets, 7:10PM ET

The Hornets host the Knicks tonight on the heels of a three game skid, losing four of their last five, with losses coming by an average margin of 10+ points per game. The loss of LaMelo Ball has been huge for the Hornets, who have had to rely on Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre to produce - which is just a losing formula in the league.

The Knicks have won two straight, defeating the Hawks and Cavaliers both by double digits. New York is 8-6 against Eastern Conference opponents this year, and is significantly healthier than the Hornets, with Obi Toppin being their only significant loss. We like the Knicks to pull away here.

BET: Knicks -3 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

Detroit Pistons vs. Memphis Grizzlies, 8:10PM ET

The loss of Cade Cunningham seems to have rallied the Pistons somehow - as the young Detroit squad has been playing some of it's best basketball in years lately, stealing a win at Miami by 20 points and knocking off Luka Doncic and the Mavs in the last week. These two teams met less than a week ago, with Memphis winning by ten. Memphis shot 43% from three in that game, and they will need to stay hot again in order to cover a double digit spread here.

Without sharpshooter Desmond Bane, that's a tall task. Detroit has been much improved, and with the Grizz not at full strength, we like the Pistons to keep this one close.

BET: Pistons +10.5 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Phoenix Suns, 8:40PM ET

The Pelicans and Suns met once earlier this season, resulting in 124-111 Phoenix victory. We think the Pelicans may have revenge on their mind tonight however. New Orleans has won five consecutive games at home, and the Smoothie King Center has become one of the most difficult places to play in all of sports.

Ever since Kanye West tweeted out a picture of Chris Paul implying there may have been some Kardashian-fueled drama at play, the Suns have been awful. They lost three of their last four, including blowout losses to the Celtics and Mavericks and a loss to the lowly Rockets. They don't have the stuff to go into New Orleans and come out with a victory right now.

BET: Pelicans +2 (-110) with DraftKings ➡️ here ⬅️.
