NBA 2020/21 Season Win Totals - Eastern Conference
After just 72 days ticking over since the Lakers wrapped up the 2019/20 title, the NBA is set to be back on our screens on December 22nd and it’s time to get those win totals bets down.
Every season presents a new opportunity to find an edge on the sportsbooks when it comes to teams’ season win totals and DimersBOT is here to assist you in making those calls.
Western Conference Season Win Totals
Thanks to our predictive analytics model, we have an Over or Under bet for each and every NBA team (see below), with some teams presenting big money-making opportunities according to our data, so let’s get into it 👇
The last two regular seasons have seen the Milwaukee Bucks dominate the East, and according to our projections, they should find themselves in the top seed once again. But in saying that, our model has the Heat as much closer to the Bucks than the sportsbooks odds’ are suggesting.
Across three books, we have identified six teams in the East that provide the best value to us bettors, with three of the teams presenting value with PointsBet.
👇 Atlanta Hawks (Under 36.5 wins)
The Hawks have added Bogdan Bogdanovic and Danilo Gallinari this past off-season, in addition to Clint Capela who joined the fold before the season was stopped back in March.
Despite these roster changes, our predictive analytics model has the Hawks falling short of the wins total being given to them by the sportsbooks, with 34 wins being the predicted number.

👇 Chicago Bulls (Under 30 wins)
Another young team that our model has going Under their total win mark, the Chicago Bulls have Billy Donovan on board, who will be hoping our projections are wrong. If some young guys like Coby White and Lauri Markkanen take a leap, DimersBOT could look silly, but as it stands the Under is definitely the bet when it comes to Chi-Town.

👇 Indiana Pacers (Under 39.5 wins)
The third team in the East of which our model is big on playing the Under. The Pacers find themselves in an awkward position this season, with the general consensus being that they can’t match it with the best six teams in the conference, whilst also being better than the rest of the chasing pack. With that in mind, they could be in for a rebuild at some point this season and even before that, the Under is looking like the better play.

☝ Miami Heat (Over 43.5 wins)
The Heat were one of the best stories of the 2019/20 season, with a red-hot run in the playoffs, resulting in a finals loss to the Lakers. And if our model is anything to go by (it is) then they are in for another season of surpassing expectations!
DimersBOT has Jimmy Butler and his Heat boys going 46-26, which would see a comfortable cover for Over 43.5 bettors.

☝ Orlando Magic (Over 31.5 wins)
The Magic are looking like a solid playoff sleeper according to our data, with the 31.5 line looking way too low. Although Jonothan Isaac will miss most if not all of the season, the Orlando side still have an abundance of talent, headlined by star big man Nikola Vucevic, dunk contest bridesmaid Aaron Gordon and former number one pick Markelle Fultz.

👇 Philadelphia 76ers (Under 44.5 wins)
This one is tough. Our prediction is based on the Sixers’ current roster and with all the James Harden talk happening right now, who knows how long the squad stays as it is. But in saying that, the Sixers do seem committed to giving it another go with Simmons and Embiid and if that’s the case, that we are taking the Under for Philly.
