Tigers vs. Pirates, 7:05PM ET

Neither of these teams are very good, but when you break it down, Detroit have the edge when they travel to Pittsburgh for a midweek series against the Pirates. Tarik Skubal (4-2, 2.15 ERA) is the epitome of that Bugatti under a ratty carport meme. When he starts for the Tigers, they're generally pretty competitive. Look for Detroit to get off to a hot start and hold on.

Athletics vs. Braves, 7:20PM ET

Things are tough in Oakland right now. They've lost 9 of their last 10 and just do not look competitive, scoring just an average of 2 runs per game in that stretch. The Braves have taken a long time to warm up, just like their World Series winning season last year, but they are now on a 5-game winning streak and will be facing leftie Cole Irvin who may be in line for a battering; the Braves are batting .288 against left-handed pitchers in their last 10.

Rockies vs. Giants, 9:45PM ET
