We're expecting more runs again this afternoon and we're expecting Yordan Alvarez to be one of the suppliers, especially against Oakland starting pitcher Cole Irvin (6-9, 2.92 ERA). Alvarez has a career batting average of .500 against Irvin from a healthy sample size of 14 at-bats against him. Two of those ABs were dingers and with the form Alvarez is currently in, he's a great chance of hitting No. 3.
