Red Sox vs. Mets Analysis

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Mets, 7:10PM ET

LEG 1: Jeff McNeil to Get an RBI

It's a bullpen day for the Boston Red Sox today with Brennan Bernardino listed as the likely starter, so we're leaning into a few Mets hitter player props that DimersBOT loves. Beginning with 2nd baseman Jeff McNeil to drive home a run. McNeil has seven RBIs in July thus far, including two on Saturday in Fenway Park. He's seeing the ball well right now, and with Boston's bullpen on the mound, he should get a few chances with runners on base. DimersBOT marks McNeil down as a 55.8% probability with a 14.7% edge. Lock it in!

LEG 2: Francisco Lindor to Hit a HR

For our second leg, we're going with Francisco Lindor to hit a bomb. Like McNeil, Lindor has never faced Boston's starter today, but we're banking on some positive swinging regression here as Lindor is due for a big fly. He is tied for 23rd in all of baseball with 19 homers on the year, despite having zero homers in his last ten games combined. Lindor has rarely gone that long without a dinger this season, and there's no better opportunity for him to get back on track than against the Boston bullpen. DimersBOT believes Lindor is the highest probability home run play in this game, with a 30.2% chance of hitting a homer and a 13.5% edge.

LEG 3: Mets +1.5

Given that the first two legs rely on Mets sluggers to come through, it should come as no surprise that for our final leg we are backing New York to cover the 1.5-run spread against Boston here. The Mets bats should get hot tonight for all the reasons listed above, and DimersBOT is buying it, giving New York a 58% chance to cover the 1.5-point spread. Lock it in!
