A new week begins in the MLB and we're looking to start it off right with our MLB Home Run Parlay for Monday, April 24. Tonight's parlay features players from the Rockies vs. Guardians and Athletics vs. Angels games as we compare our MLB predictions data against the sportsbook lines to try and determine where we might have an edge over the 'books. Rockies vs. Guardians, 6:10PM ET

LEG 1: Josh Bell 1+ HR (+470) with DraftKings

Attack Austin Gomber (0-4, 12.12 ERA) at all costs tonight. Gomber gets the start on the mound for the Rockies this evening and if the high ERA didn't already give it away, he gives up a lot of home runs. The ace has allowed a homer in every one of his four starts this season for five dingers total, and we don't expect that run to stop tonight, even if they are coming up against a team that isn't traditionally a big home run team in the Guardians.

When it comes to battling left-handed pitching, Josh Bell is the pick of the bunch for the Guards this season, batting at a .318 avg with a homer. His record against Gomber in his career is impressive with a .429 avg, however a home run against the Colorado pitcher has thus far been elusive. We're banking on that stat changing tonight.

Athletics vs. Angels, 9:38PM ET

LEG 2: CJ Cron 1+ HR (+320) with DraftKings

The Angels were in some fine form yesterday, particularly at the top of the order with Taylor Ward, Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani all going yard (back-to-back-to-back, no less). With a full head of confidence, they'll get another look at Oakland pitcher Ken Waldichuk (0-2, 7.65 ERA) who faces the Halos for a second time after giving up three home runs in a 6-0 win for LA on April 2. On that day it was Trout, Ohtani and Logan O'Hoppe smashing one each out of the park. One man who didn't get in on the action that day, or yesterday when we took him in our article, was Hunter Renfroe.

The former Rays slugger went 0-4 against the Royals yesterday but he has been prolific against leftie pitchers this season, batting at an obscene avg of .500 from 18 at-bats. We're not afraid to go back to the well on this one and take Renfroe to go big.
