Home Run Picks for Tuesday, May 7
Pick 1: Isaac Paredes to Hit a Home Run
The highest probability in our Round Robin is Rays third baseman Isaac Paredes at 22%. With 7 home runs on the year, Paredes is in a prime matchup tonight against the White Sox who are starting Mike Soroka.
Soroka has allowed 7 homers this year and his 6.4 xHR are the 11th-most in MLB. He's righthander and Paredes has hit all of his home runs off righties. Plus, we get the White Sox bullpen that has allowed 17 home runs (T-3rd most) this season.

Pick 2: Max Muncy to Hit a Home Run
Next is Max Muncy who's fresh off a three-HR game just three night ago. Muncy gets a 21% probability to go yard in the midst of a strong offensive streak that has raised his SLG% to the highest its's been all season.
He's up against Edward Cabrera who has only given up a pair of homers, but owns a 12th percentile Barrel % against Muncy's 82nd and the Marlins' weak bullpen (17 home runs allowed).

Pick 3: Ryan Mountcastle to Hit a Home Run
The Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle is up next with a 21% probability to hit a home run against the Nationals. Last year, Nats starter Trevor Williams allowed 34 home runs but he's yet to give one up this year through 31.2 IP. Will he break tonight?
Mountcastle has hit five home runs this year and hits both the fastball and changeup well, Williams' top two pitch types.

Pick 4: Vinnie Pasquantino to Hit a Home Run
Next we've got the hard-hitting first-baseman for the Royals, Vinnie Pasquantino. The Italian Nightmare has four dingers this year, and all of righthanders like he'll face tonight with the Brewers' Colin Rea. Even better? Rea has allowed five home runs this year, all off lefties like Pas!
Winds are blowing a little to the left and while Pasquantino has dumped all his home runs over the right field fence, the rest bodes well alongside his 20% probability.
⚾ Full Brewers vs. Royals Game Prediction
Pick 5: Ryan McMahon to Hit a Home Run
We finish with the lowest probability of the five but that doesn't make him our least-worthy pick. Ryan McMahon gets a 16% probability of leaving Coors Field tonight.
He draws a matchup with the Giants young southpaw Kyle Harrison who has allowed five home runs so far this season. McMahon has launched five of his own and hits both lefties and righties very well (2 HR, .920 OPS against LHP). McMahon's primary home run metrics are all in the top 90th percentile of MLB, including his Barrel %.
