Angels vs. Royals, 9:38PM ET

LEG 1: Shohei Ohtani 1+ HR (+400) with DraftKings

As the Angels sit in the middle of the AL West tied with the Astros at 9-10, the chatter around Los Angeles trading away Shohei Ohtani is heating up. But tonight, he plays for the Halos and we're taking him at +400 to hit a home run for our first leg. Ohtani, who will also be toeing the rubber tonight, has four homers on the year with his most recent coming on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. The Big A is definitely a pitcher's park, but our model gives Shohei a whopping 26.6% chance to go yard tonight, and there's no place like home to hit a home run. Lock it in.

Mets @ Giants, 10:15PM ET

LEG 2: Pete Alonso 1+ HR (+550) with DraftKings

The Polar Bear has the solo lead in the majors with nine dingers through the first three weeks. Averaging nearly one HR every other game alongside a beefy .286 batting average, Alonso is arguably the most dangerous hitter at the plate right now. He draws a difficult matchup with Anthony Descalafini on the mound, but in a neutral stadium like Oracle Park, our model projects a 22.9% chance to leave the yard,  significantly higher than his 15.38% probability implied by odds of +550. This is way too good of a price to pass up for MLB's home run leader, and the data agrees. Polar Pete, get it done!
