BYU vs. AlabamaAlabama win by 6 or more

Duke vs. ArizonaDuke win by 6 or more

Leg 1: BYU vs. Alabama

Alabama enters this matchup as the fastest-paced team in the nation, averaging 90.8 points per game, while BYU has shown a tendency to get drawn into track meets against quicker opponents. The DimersBOT's opening prediction for this game had Alabama winning by exactly six points.

The Cougars rank 71st in adjusted defensive efficiency, a mark that suggests they could struggle to slow down the Crimson Tide’s high-powered attack. Alabama has scored 90 or more points in nine of its last 14 games, only going under against Top 20 teams in adjusted defensive efficiency and if BYU is unable to force a more controlled game, Alabama could dictate the style of play and cover the 4.5-point spread (53% Dimers probability) en route to winning by at least six points. While BYU has the offensive talent to keep up for stretches, Alabama’s ability to push the tempo will hopefully put them in control.

Leg 2: Maryland vs. Florida

Florida’s offensive efficiency will be tested against Maryland’s top-ranked defense since February 1. The Gators prefer to push the tempo, ranking 52nd in adjusted pace, while Maryland will look to slow things down, sitting at 194th in that category.

If Florida can control the pace, they have the tools to pull away late, but if Maryland dictates the tempo, this matchup could remain close throughout. With Florida favored by 6.5 points, their ability to break down the Terrapins' defense will be the key to covering the spread. Additionally, Florida’s edge on the glass could be a deciding factor, as second-chance opportunities may prove crucial against a Maryland squad that thrives in low-possession games.

The Dimers model predicts Florida will cover the 6.5 spread with a 55% probability and a final score of 82-75 in favor of the Gators, winning by at least six.

Leg 3: Duke vs. Arizona

Duke enters this matchup as the No. 1 team in the KenPom rankings, boasting both the top-rated offense and the fourth-best defense. Arizona, ranked 13th overall, has a strong offensive unit but will face one of its toughest tests of the season against Duke’s disciplined defensive scheme.

The Blue Devils have already proven they can handle Arizona, securing a 14-point road win over the Wildcats in November, and their roster has only improved since then. Arizona will need a standout defensive effort to slow Duke’s attack, but with the Blue Devils favored by 9.5 points, oddsmakers expect them to control the game. If Duke maintains its balanced play on both ends, they are well-positioned to advance with another convincing victory, with the Dimers model predicting an 82-72 final score in favor of Duke.
