Las Vegas Raiders 2022 Win Total Prediction, Computer Picks and Super Bowl Odds
The 2022 NFL season is firmly on the horizon and over the coming weeks the Dimers crew will break down the chances of each and every team, all vying for Super Bowl 57 glory in Glendale, Arizona come February.
Let's take a look at the key factors to consider when betting on the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022.
Whether you’re a fan of the Raiders or not, give them a ton of credit for earning a wild-card berth last season amid so much adversity. Now, after competing in the postseason for the first time since 2016, and only a failed final possession from knocking out the Cincinnati Bengals, they’ll look to do more damage and finish atop arguably the most competitive division in the NFL.
Las Vegas Raiders Win Total Prediction, Computer Picks and Super Bowl Odds
Las Vegas Raiders
- 2021 Record: 10-7, 2nd place AFC West (lost divisional round of playoffs)
North (missed playoffs) - 2021 ATS: 8-9
- Key off-season losses: Zay Jones WR, Bryan Edwards WR, Casey Hayward CB
- Key off-season additions: Davante Adams WR, Chandler Jones DE, Rock Ya-Sin CB, Josh McDaniels HC, Jayon Brown LB, Anthony Averett CB, Bilal Nichols DT
Las Vegas Raiders Win Total - 8.5
A new coaching staff headed by Josh McDaniels and a blockbuster trade for one of the premier weapons in the game, Davante Adams, has fans of the Silver and Black thinking big.
QB Derek Carr threw 626 times a year ago, completing 68.4% for 4,804 yards, 23 TDs and 14 INTs. However, his counterparts were even more impressive against a Raiders’ defense that desperately added some help in the form of Chandler Jones. Las Vegas allowed 29 passing scores in 2021 and managed only six INTs, so a good pass-rusher helps immensely.

With Adams (123 receptions, 1,553 yards, 11 TDs with Packers), WR Hunter Renfrow (103, 1,038, 9) and TE Darren Waller (55 catches in 11 games), and the QB whisperer McDaniels in town, all the stars are aligned for Carr to drive the Raiders deep into the playoffs.
“I’m not Bill [Belichick] and I can’t be,” McDaniels told silverandblackpride.com. “I’m just going to try to be myself and hopefully I can be a good leader for our team. I think we have a good thing going in terms of the direction that we’ve started things in.”
PICK: Over 8.5 wins
DimersBOT: In our model's 10,000 simulations of the upcoming NFL season, the Raiders averaged 8.28 wins per year. With that said, our model leans slightly towards the Under. But it's not a significant edge, so you can see why our expert might want to take the Over.
Las Vegas Raiders X-Factor - Derek Carr, QB
Carr signed a three-year, $121 million extension (with a no-trade clause) in April, so the Raiders are clearly all-in on the 31-year-old signal-caller. He’s thrown for more than 30 TDs only once in eight seasons and had a career high 14 picks a year ago. The Raiders are going nowhere unless Carr steers the ship.

Las Vegas Raiders Super Bowl 57 Chances
If the Raiders can survive the wrath of the AFC West and get to the dance, they’ll be difficult to play against. They certainly have some favorable odds. McDaniels, who spent 14 seasons alongside Belichick, is well-schooled with playoff football, and Adams has played in multiple conference championship games. But this team is still rather unproven.
DimersBOT: There's some value to be had, but the model only gives Las Vegas a 1.2% chance to win the Super Bowl. It's probably best to stay away.
