La Liga: Soccer Best Bets and Analysis
Cadiz vs. Villarreal Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday 8:00AM ET
Full betting preview: Cadiz vs. Villareal
Saturday’s first La Liga game sees Cadiz welcome Villarreal to the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla. The visitors are expected to win the game and with good reason, they’re sixth while Cadiz are down in 19th. The odds on a Villarreal win aren’t too big, so we’re looking for better value on the game.
That hunt for a better value bet takes us to the team goal market, where you can bet on Cadiz not scoring a single goal at +105. Through six games in La Liga Cadiz have scored just one goal, the lowest in the league. Not only that but they have the lowest xG in the league at 2.56, indicating that their forwards are rarely getting in good goalscoring positions.
Their opposition Villarreal have also only given away two goals this year, the second best record in the league. Given Cadiz woes in front of goal, and the quality of Villarreal this looks like a great wager
BET: Cadiz to score no goals (+105 at Caesars)
Mallorca vs. Barcelona Best Bet
Kickoff: Saturday 3:00PM ET
Full betting preview: Mallorca vs. Barcelona
We’re only six games into the season and we’re already at the point where it’s hard to find real value on games featuring the big boys Barcelona or Real Madrid. However, there’s still a little bit of value in this game, which sees Barcelona travel to Mallorca, as they look to chase down Real Madrid at the top of the table.
Mallorca are sat in the middle of the La Liga table and have 10 points from six games but Barcelona are far superior, even if they’re only six points better off. With Robert Lewandowski scoring for fun and his team scoring 18 goals already this season it’s hard to see Barcelona not leaving San Moix with three points.
However, they’ve only given away one goal all season in the league which makes Barcelona to win to nil, look like a great price at +125.
BET: Barcelona win to nil (+125 at Caesars)
Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis Best Bet
Kickoff: Sunday 10:15AM ET
Full betting preview: Celta Vigo vs. Real Betis
This has been an impressive start for Real Betis who sit third in La Liga. They’re on 15 points after six games, losing just one match and having five wins. One of the main reasons behind their performances has been Borja Iglesias.
The 29-year old has had a brilliant start of the season and it saw him getting called up to the Spanish national team in this past international break. Through six games he’s scored six goals and managed to bag one every 84 minutes.
Now his Real Betis faces a Celta Vigo team who have given up 13 goals already this season, a number only beaten by Cadiz and Elche who sit at the bottom of the table. Back Borja Iglesias to score again here at a great price of +220.
BET: Borja Iglesias to score (+220 at Caesars)
